So you can fax in a request and ask for specific room numbers? Where can you see which rooms are standard -vs- king -vs- water view, etc?

Never mind - I found the link for the rooms (I thought I had seen it before). I just didn't know you could ask for specific rooms.

Where is the link for the rooms ?

For all who asked, my room number was 4217. I had requested 4249, 4252, 4217, or 4220 in that order. All were king bed corner rooms.

Did you call and have them add these room numbers to your reservation or did you fax your requests ?

Has anyone else had an issue changing requests made on the online check in? I did mine probably a month ago and requested 2nd floor, now I've changed my mind and would rather have 1st floor. But when I go back into the online check in, it won't let me change it. The check boxes next to my original two selections are gray and I can't unselect them. I'm able to add more selections though (even though it says choose up to two). Seems very odd that my choices would be "locked in" so far out, I'm just at 30 days tomorrow.

I am able to add them, but don't have any selected to see if it allows me to change them. The majority of my options are to pick rooms at the All Star Movie Resort, so I left them all blank figuring MDE was having issues.

It's probably not recommended to ask for specific rooms, and I did in fact apologize in my fax for doing so. I know UG says not to because it can be hard for the room assigners to place you, particularly if you only request one certain room, since they don't know what it was about it that you want and don't know how to place you in something similar. But I went through and selected all the rooms I liked the views from and narrowed it down from there.

I faxed it.

Yes, once you make your two selections you can't change it, which is rather silly. I would call and/or fax your requests to have them noted.

So I'm over the splash area being closed and moving on - - - -
I noticed that there are play grounds around the resort. I never saw one on our last visit (we stayed in Barbados and we were either in the parks or at the splash zone!!). I see a picture on the fist page of the thread of the playground located on the little island and it looks great, but what are the other ones like? I'm hoping that our little one will like the playground area. It looks like there is one by Jamaica, Martinique and North Trinidad. Thanks! 33 days!!! I have to finish my TShirts and get packing!!

Can anyone tell me if the rooms have those cords in the bathroom you can pull across to dry bathing suits? I know it has been answered here before and I can't remember the answer. My brain is so inundated with all things Disney it's like I am starting over with learning new info.! TIA!

Our reservation is for September 4-12 of 2015. It includes room & park tickets. If free dining becomes available for CBR, can we just call and have it added on? We have no other discounts.

Yes they do. Used it almost every day last week!

I apologize if this has already been posted, but I couldn't quite make it through all 140+ pages! Does anyone have a picture of one of the rooms with the murphy bed? I'm assuming it is similar to POR, but I'd love to see a pic.

Thanks!
Ann

absolutely! Or any other discounts that come along. If it turns out that free dining is available from something like Sept. 6-20, then you can book two stays, one for Sept 4-6 with no discount, and one for the rest of your trip with free dining. You do have to check out and check back in (usually they can accommodate the same room), but it is worth it for the discount!

Check Page 72. It has a picture of the Murphy bed. I don't know how to add it here. :)

Those water view pics are gorgeous. Well be there in the beginning of October.. I already requested either Jamaica or Aruba in hopes of a refurb room and being close to a possible first bus stop to the parks. We also will have a king room. What's that room number? And any idea if there's any king waterview rooms on the second floor? Or Jamaica or Aruba. I tried to call and request this earlier but they said I had to wait until 10 days before...

I can't change mine either! Been trying for days.

Thank you so much!!! I wonder how long it is. My VERY tall 6 year old will be 7 by the time we go. Do you think she'll fit?

I know my middle daughter fit in the POR one when she was 9, but I don't remember it being closed in on both sides like that one.

Anybody know if they are the same length as the ones at POR?

4217. As I said on the previous page, I had requested 4249, 4252 (both upper floor), 4217, or 4220 (lower floors). I used the touringplans.com room finder tool, I don't believe it showed any water view kings in Aruba. However Dansdad said that all buildings have some king rooms, which is not reflected in that tool.

You can call the central reservation line any time to add a room reuqest; faxing a request to the resort must be done 5-7 days in advance only.
