Yay a new thread. I have taken a lot of pictures while here and would be happy to share. We have three days left of our 2 weel trip.

Would love to see pictures! We'll be there September 6 - 14 with free dining. We were there about 8 years ago, and I don't remember much about the resort. It was overall not a good trip - DD had an ear infection, I had a sinus infection, very hot, very crowded, etc. Hoping this time will be much better!

DD and I will be at CBR July 18-27 for the USSSA Softball World Series.

I'll have a car. Is there any significant time/convenience advantage driving to the parks? Or are the buses pretty good?

Buses are good, plus they drop you off close to the gate. At MK, if you drive, you have to park your car, then take a tram to the TTC (transportation & ticket center), then take the monorail or a ferry to the park entrance. Quite the hassle compared to being dropped off right in front of the park.

We will be there July 5-13. First time at CBR. We are so excited. Just me, my two kids and my niece.

Definitely be better this year! DD and I were sick most of the trip - spent almost a full day sitting in a clinic waiting to be seen by a doctor. We were also Disney newbies. We had no idea how to tour, so we would wait in line for over an hour in the middle of the afternoon for one ride. Then my neighbor told me about the Dis. Our last trip in 2011 was so much better. I'm hoping this one will be even better yet. The week we are going is all 1's and 2's on the crowd callender, so looking forward to low crowds. The heat doesn't bother us so much. We'll take breaks in the afternoons. Looking forward to trying out the pools at CBR. The pictures I've seen look amazing!

Getting excited about our trip. I had wanted the RR at POR but I really think my son will love the pirate rooms more. I know he will LOVE the pool and splash pad area!

We leave tomorrow for a week's stay - June 4 to June 11.

I am sorry to see they no longer offer little boat rentals. DH and I did that on our honeymoon and it was so much fun. We have some time to kill this time before we leave on the 11th and had thought about doing that with the kids. I guess not now. Looks like it is just hanging at the pool in the morning of departure day then....

We haven't had any problems with the buses. Last year we drove our own car most of the time because we were running behind. DHS is very close, you turn left out of CBR, go down two traffic lights and turn left in to DHS.
