I know, I know, I'd be out at the parks, too. I wasn't entirely serious!

As far as I'm concerned if the only thing on the chair is a resort towel and it's obvious no one has been there for some time, it's an open chair. Sometimes the towel is even clean and folded just ready for me to use.

So true...not just there but when we make trips to Hyatt Hill Country Resort close to home (usually...ok, always...for DW's office travel we tag along on) the chairs in the shade have towels laid out on them by 9 am, and nobody around...I will grab one that will only be shaded in the morning and watch one that is set to be shaded all day, after an hour, if nobody arrives I take it over...never had anyone with the nerve to question me (and it's not like I'm intimidating) but if they did I would just say that it was empty when I arrived, if they left towels there I bet some kids grabbed them to save a trip back to the towel hut...and since they had no proof, they could just keep moving...but like i said, never had anyone try to reclaim them.

We hit Disney in December...pool time has been rare.

We had a slight change of plans on our end. Went to OPR for lunch and when we came back there was a leak in the new room. Very wet carpet by the bathroom.... So we changed rooms to another refurb room in building 41 and this time ....wait for it..... Got at Murphy bed It is just like the beds at POR and I am uploading pics now. Cross your fingers that the wifi will let me.

After getting up at 4:30am and to get the airport and switching rooms we decided to forgo Epcot and take it easy today.

Thanks for posting the pictures! When I clicked on the first picture, it took me to several more of your pictures and I saw the murphy bed. Love the Mickey relaxing in the hammock! Thanks again!

Again, thanks for posting the pictures. I had initially thought that I wouldn't like the dark colors in the room but the runner on the bed, the curtains and the other pops of color help lighten it up.

As I said above, I love the mural of Mickey and Pluto when the murphy bed is set up.

Thats awesome! Did you specifically request that building? Look forward to the pictures!

I requested a newly refurbished room in buildings 41,42, or 43 since those seemed to be finished from the insider reports on this thread. Walking around today it seems they are almost finished with 44 and just starting on 45. There are portable white fences on all the sidewalks leading to building 45.

As I always find with Disney, service was to notch. The switch was nearly instant and easy since we had hardly unpacked.

We love the room. It feels similar to Coronado but the splashes of orange in the curtains, pictures, and bed runner(though more subdued than before) still give it a nice Caribbean feel.

Also to Damsdad, The pics were all taken with my iPad so they may not be the best quality but you are welcome to use them for the thread if you desire.

Now, DD and DW are napping and I am going to do one of my favorite things...explore

Thank you so much for posting the pictures. Hate you had to move but it's awesome that you got pictures of both types of rooms. Question - where is the fridge in the room with the Murphy bed? Looks like it must be in the center section of the dresser in the first room but I can't tell in the one with the murphy.

I was so excited to actually see a murphy bed that I called and tried to switch my reservation from 2 rooms to one, but alas its not up in the system yet. I spoke with a very friendly CM that said the memo they received said construction started July 3rd (which we all know isn't quite right). She did make a note in the reservation I want to change that requested a room that fit 5 and told me to to continue checking back b/c it could show up in the system at any time....

Thanks for the pictures! Normally I feel very sorry for myself because we can't go back for at least two years, but now I can tell myself that by then I can be confident of getting a refurbed room. I'm liking the new look more and more. Also, fist bump to those who, like me, are planning for 2016 or later.
