We are at CBR right now and we are loving it. The staff are amazing and the kids splash area is a big hit with our nearly 3 year old dd. we are in Barbados building 12 which is actually a great location. Close to the bus and custom house and only about a 5 min walk to old port royal. They are currently working on bldg 13

If you are looking for close to the main pool and OPR then book a preferred room to guarantee it, since they are the closest.

Question- we have reservations for DH and I at Flying Fish one evening. Plan to drop kids at sandcastle club at BC. What is the best way to get to BC from CBR?

When I made our reservations last spring for our Dec. trip, I made some room requests noted on the reservation (Room 1 arrival on the 16th, Room 2 arrival on the 18th - Jamaica or Aruba, adjoining rooms, 1st floor).

Now that I can check in online, I can only choose 2. Will the original requests still show up or will the online check-in override them?

I can't believe that we have only one week to go! We leave early next Saturday morning after Trick or Treating on Friday night, so I'm getting the packing started today. I'll be sure to do my CBR duty and report back on the changes. Although I may not risk "Disney jail" like Mickeystoontown was willing to do for us all last spring!

I'm finalizing my planning. We have TH breakfast at 9:30 next Sunday morning. We'll be taking the rental car to AK because we have dinner at AKL that night. Does anyone on the thread know how long it takes to drive to AK from CBR? We also have CM and Ohana on our two resort/rest days later in the week. Has anyone made the drive to either one of those from CBR? How much time should I leave?
