The new bedding at BCV

We checked into BCV today and I dreaded the new bedding. From the pictures I'd seen, the bed looked so "unfinished". Well, I'm here to tell you it's not bad at all-I was very pleasantly satisfied. I'd like a colorful bed scarf, but even without one, the bed really looks fine. What a relief!

Wonder if they will add a scarf, since all the other resorts have them.

I was just there the beginning of the week and agree. In fact I really didn't even realize the change until I'd been in there a short while. The "sheets" have a little pattern in them. In the room it did not seem as plain as it appears in the pictures although I agree that a bed scarf would be a nice addition.

We will be "home" at BCV in 11 days. Is that a light blanket or a duvet on the bed? Were there any blankets in the closet?

I agree, the bed does look "unfinished". I had also read that the matresses were also changed - true?

I'm sitting right next to the bed. No duvet, but there is a blanket. I can't find an extra blanket in the closet. Don't know about mattresses being replaced, but we both slept well last night and I'd be complaining (at least to myself)if the mattress wasn't good-I have a bad back.

Not as bad as I thought it would look, but agree that it does have a bit of an unfinished look to it. A runner would definitely be a plus!!! Staying there in May for a few nights. Did you guys sleep on the pull out by any chance? Wondering if its comfortable or not?

It should be triple sheeted. Bottom sheet, top sheet, blanket and cover sheet.

Yup, totally agree.. needs the little strip at the foot of the bed... OK, I guess now it is called a bed scarf... learn something everyday.... I dont mind the bedspreads being gone... kinda creepy anyway.

Experienced new bedding on the 18th and 19th and I thought it was plain and boring, however it's better than having to give old 50lb Bessy the heave oh into the closet upon arrival!

This is great news! I'm excited for all the DVC resorts to get the triple sheeting.
