Deadheadbelle, thanks for all the updates on [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] and crew. I'm glad they're all feeling better but I'm very sorry that they weren't at their best while they were there. I know how that is.

Also, for the record, I did pick up on the fact that the two of you were related, but didn't say anything because I wasn't sure if you wanted it to "go public" or not. Then when you asked if anyone knew I was MIA for a few days so I didn't get to answer. I believe this is the first time in my life that I've ever been "in" on something. Usually, I'm not all that observant and just look confused and puzzled all the time. LOL

Cheeringmom, RickinNYC and CourtasanSatine, I'm also from a military family! My Dad was in the Air Force for 20 years. For the past several years he's been working for the Army (as a civilian). Luckily, we only moved once growing up. Well, unless you count when he was stationed in SC right after I was born. Not surprisingly, I don't remember that too well.

Bichon Barb, wow that's a lot of snow! Believe it or not, we are actually supposed to have snow showers tomorrow morning. So of course everyone is flocking to the grocery stores tonight to stock up on milk and bread and the city will probably shut down tomorrow.

ohanafamily, sorry to hear about all of your problems with the renovation going on. I hope it gets better soon for you. Your story about the vaccuum made me think about how this year, when my parents asked what they could get me and my partner for Christmas, our response was a vaccuum. I never thought I'd see the day when I actually asked for a vaccuum for Christmas! Could I BE more domestic?!?!

Tigger Fans! WELCOME BACK!! We sure did miss you in all your purple mickey bar glory! I hope you had a great trip, but I do have to say that it seemed a little quiet around here without you.

Man, it's been awhile since I've been here. Our trip to the World was great (even if I did have a nasty cold) but since we've been back I've been covered up with holiday stuff and work. This is the first chance I've had to come here and read. I've got a lot to catch up on!

HuggaBaloo, I love the Christmas message & pics! I love Stitch! And the KP speak is way over my head, too!

Well, as I type, [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] & family are at MVMCP. She is happy to be there, but still a little down that so much of their trip was spent being sick. Oh yeah, did I mention the $150 they spent on antibiotics??? Like I told her, at least they had a nice room to be stuck in at the GF. I think Holly may have an ear infection, so I am worried about her on the flight back. Any suggestions to avoid ear pain on the return flight??

I just read that [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] and family are sick while at WDW... I sure hope they are feeling better. It's awful to be sick whilst on vacation. 8( I was lucky that my cold loosened its grip on me a couple of days into the trip.

The trip was great! I ate a couple of Mickey bars and thought about the Tagliarchy folk. Short version... we finally left a legacy at Epcot; went to MVMCP, and ate tons of good food (Rose and Crown is great!).

HuggaBaloo Love your Christmas Stitch! Hee hee hee... I've got my milk and bread, how about you? Actually, I already had the requisite milk and bread on hand, so I was spared the usual "it's going to snow so I must Go To the Store" trip. It really is funny how the mere mention of snow sends us Southern folk to the grocery stores. We spent 10 years in Atlanta, and the same thing happens there whenever snow is forecast.

ALSO, have had to watch POTC several times since getting it in a gift exchange last week! Depplyinluv I was a little dissapointed in the cast commentary option and the bloopers (too short). Was hoping for something from Johnny and Orlando. I haven't looked at all the additional material yet though...am I missing something good?

the commentary was boring and Gore Verbinski talked waaaaay to much giving my beloved Johnny little time to speak. i must admit, i got a laugh or two out of the commentary between kiera and jack davenport, but had to shut it off because kiera bugs me (no offense kiera knightly fans). anyway, the bloopers are OK, the best are the JOhnny parts ("is that a plane?" "i hate this bloody line, where are the writers, im going to kill them") i did enjoy "the epic at sea" about the making of the movie, and some of the deleted scenes are pretty interesting. but this is all coming from a diehard potc lover, so...

rockinchica: i have been begging...er campaigning...for a tag for a long while. jsut try not to be expecting for a tag and you'll get one; the Tag Fairies tag at unexpected times.

TNCarole, welcome back!!! We missed you too! Wow, there are so many people going and coming this month, I can hardly keep up!

So TNCarole are you all snowed in today? What a bust! This always happens. Oh, BTW, I also used to live in Atlanta. I was there almost 6 years until I moved back to Chattanooga in March of this year. Actually, I think they were even worse about the whole snow thing. You know how those "city people" are!

Huggabaloo,, the Stitch is very cute. When we went to MK for the day last week, I let the boys each pick one souvineer. Hunter picked a stuffed Stitch with a Santa hat. Everytime I pick up their room, the next day it is a mess again. I'm wondering if Stitch has something to do with that. Oh, for Christmas they are getting Lilo and Stitch and the Lion King on DVD. I think I'll watch it more than them.

Okay, you guys are going to flame me for this, but we rented Pirates, and I fell asleep on it. I will give it another try sometime. I dont' know what it is. I used to love those kinds of movies. DH loved it, so I bought him the DVD for Christmas. Yup, this "dumb puppy American" spent $20 of her hard-earned money on it. Maybe someday I'll get over that quote. Heck, I still watch Kate Hudson movies. Now someone pass me the caaaaat-chup!

Tigger Fans!, Honestly, I would have shown you how to play music, It's just that I wanted to make sure that the Tag Fairy's Boss (webmaster Pete) didn't have a problem with the music. I saw a book and thought of all of your bright and cheery posts, it is called "How To Write Really Annoying Websites". I tried some of the code out of it and it didn't work. I guess they disabled a lot of the functions...I will try again next year... there are some really neat things in here if I can get them to work for our next poll...Oh, and good luck counting today...

Bichon Barb, you should know that I fall asleep to some of my favorite movies; sometimes my brain is on overload and I need the distraction. POC is a little noisy to fall asleep to for me (unless I was realllllly tired).

How about breakfast at the Breakfastosarus today, the kids want to go there.

BTW, after no sleep night before last, I had a beautiful nights sleep last night...I have my fingers crossed.....

Oh, and we haven't taken the vacuum cleaner back yet; I may yet get to keep it!!!!!
