Dawn, Seth just keeps getting cuter and cuter! I love this age in babies - they have that cute baby fat and adorable smile, but are still tiny and cuddly. It's hard to tell in the pics, but is his hair reddish in color? And gotta love those rosey cheeks!

Obviously, with a job and a baby, you are busy, but if you happen to be up late with a fussy baby and need something to read, I have a pre-trip going. The link is in my siggie.

I love your little Seth and life reports! I hope you continue to have them in your ptr. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I have been following along. I mostly check the DIS from my cell phone and it's kinda difficult to post from there, so I don't very often. But I'm still here! Keep the cute pics coming and can't wait to see what you are planning for your next trip. BTW, we did Potter when we went in Dec and it was awesome. If you haven't done universal before, the park can easily be done in one day in the off season. Honestly, I could have done both parks in one day. Just thought I'd let you know

It's hard to tell in the pics, but is his hair reddish in color?

It does have a very slight red tint to it when the light hits it just right. I think it's gonna be mostly blonde though, at least until he gets a little older. I was blonde as a kid and so was Ray. My paternal grandmother had red hair and when my dad grows out a beard it's red. And whenever I dye my hair brown it always has a rent tint to it without me putting it there. So I'm not surprised that there's slight red there with Seth.

We were gonna go this October but now that we're going to Ray's sister and nephew in October 2012, I think we're gonna wait until then. They definitely want to see it then (that's why we're even going down there and I get a Disney bonus out of it) and with Seth only being 13 months old, I just don't feel like we'd get much out of Universal this trip. So I think we're just gonna take it easy and stick with Disney this time. I've heard horror stories about the HP stuff, about lines being horrible and the shops and different areas being way too small for the crowds. Did you experience that?

Okay, so on to a Christmas update so we can close this sucker down!

Our first Christmas with our little man was exactly what I wanted it to be....relaxing! We stayed at home this year (since we had been to Nashville for Thanksgiving) and enjoyed ourselves. Next year we will go to Nashville for Christmas but after that we will be staying at home for a number of years because I don't think Santa wants to travel to Tennessee with all his gifts!

Anyway, on to the pictures. I wanted a Christmas card picture with Seth and the dogs, but it didn't turn out that way. The dogs wouldn't cooperate, so it ended up just being Seth. Here are a few outtakes I thought were funny.....

On Christmas Eve Ray's family came over and of course who would you guess was the center of attention???

I had specifically bought those overalls and striped shirt for Christmas and they lasted about an hour until he spit up on them.

We had a big meal and then it was time to open Seth's first official Christmas presents (not counting the ones he got at Thanksgiving!).....

Ray trying to be sexy.....the only problem is that he has a big drool stain on his shoulder.

Sherman wanted to play, too.....

I don't think he even made it to 7:00 before he was out!

Again, Sherman was curious.....

After Ray's family left we looked outside and it was snowing!!!!! I thought it was so cool that it snowed on Seth's first Christmas, even though he won't remember a thing about it. Luckily he was awake again and we went outside to show him.

Look.....Santa came!!!

After we had breakfast and played with our gifts from Santa, we went outside to enjoy the pretty, white snow!

I don't think Seth really liked it. I mean, think about it. He's used to being warm and cozy. Then I take him outside and everything's bright, hurts his eyes and his face is cold! Right when the self-timer on the camera clicked he decided he'd had enough!

Anyway, we just vegged out the rest of the day and watched "A Christmas Story" 50 times and played with our new toys. Fun!

My mom came down later in the week and she had gifts from my sister Brooke, who lives in Connecticut.

This book was so cool - Brooke read the story and recorded herself doing it. So now every time Seth reads this, Brooke reads it to him!

What's funny is she got Margot one, too, and I asked Brett if Margot liked it. He said, "Um.....yeah, she listens to it all the time and I'm SO SICK of Brooke's voice!!!!"

He was more interested in the tissue paper to be honest.....

My sister knows I'm trying to get him all the small Disney plushes and she added to his collection with Goofy, Thumper and Sebastian....

So far we have Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Dumbo, Thumper, Sebastian, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. I try to add to the collection every time I go to the Disney Store at our mall or if they've having a sell online!

One last thing before we're done. I need help with a title for my new pre-TR!!!! Suggestions, please? Here's a few facts about our trip to help:

~It's Seth's first trip.
~I'm running in the 5K.
