sooooo. this is my deal. we are on the basic dining plan
We have a 4:55 pm ADR at Hollywood and Vine. DH loves basic buffet food and after a week of eating what he considers "wierd food" I know it will be perfect for him. We plan to eat breakfast in the room. That leaves us a counterservice for a mid to late morning lunch.
I do not think ANYTHING looks appetizing at the counterservice places at HS.
should we
1. just snack. OOP Turkey legs. fries, hot dogs ect.
2. take the time to zip over to DTD and eat at Wolfgang Puck Express

) But one place we have never eaten - never even looked at - that I noticed on the menus was Min & Bills Dockside Diner. I think it's outdoor seating, but they have Frankfurter in a pretzel roll, and Italian Sausage with onions and peppers, and a chicken casear salad. Not a lot - but also not a typical hot dog, burger and chicken nuggets. The Backlot Express (where we usually wind up for CS and DHS) has (in addition to burger, dog & nuggets) a southwest salad and grilled turkey and cheese which doesn't sound too bad, and a vegetable sandwich that I (personally) think sounds horrible but may suit someone's taste. We haven't been to Pizza Planet in years, likewise witht he ABC commisary. The boys always want to eat at Primetime if we are at DHS.
It was fine for a snack.
