I was supposed to drive to VA to get on Amtrak and take the train all the way down to FL to go to Disney! This damn hurricane rolls up the east coast and now we have to cancel our trip! OF COURSE it has to be targeting our WHOLE route. We only go once a year and we were REALLY looking forward to going. Crying won't help because it really isn't safe to drive through 90mph winds. So now I think my parents are taking my sister and I out of school a week to go the last week in Sept. Were thinking that maybe if it changes course, like goes out towards sea by 12pm tomorrow, then we will go. Did the hurricane put a damper on anyone else's trip?

Sorry it ruined your plans, but please do remember this could be a serious hurricane and people are being evacuated. I would be very dissapointed if I were you, trust me, but maybe we could hope that everyone on the coast will be okay instead of complaining about a canceled trip. I'm not trying to be mean, because I would be sooooo sad/mad if I were you too I hope it doesn't come to the coast and that you're able to go to Disney
