The NCIS Official Thread

Very disappointed in NCIS's usually excellent writing.

NO WAY Gibbs would not have policed his ammo...

Also-- 'a drug dealer has been wearing this around her neck for 20 years' isn't a very good source of evidence.

Have to wonder if this is part of the salary dispute and this is how they are writing her out?

He didn't police it ON PURPOSE. He wanted it known that he killed Pedro. As for wearing it as a pendant for 20yrs. I know nothing about forensics, so I don't presume to know what's good evidence or not, but tv being tv it stretches boundaries for a good story. I remember when the first CSI came out and real CSI's were complaining about how quick the casdes got solved. William Peterson what the show solved in 48 hrs more likely took 48 weeks, cause in real life toxicology takes weeks and there's a backlog at the lab.

I haven't heard anything about a salary dispute, and if there is 1 I hope they solve it but because to lose Pauley would be a HUGE HUGE hit for the show. I actually heard about a Gibbs/Abbey arc months ago, but had no details on what it would be about.

I know David McCallum re-signed the day the story broke or the day after, but I haven't heard about the other 3. There is no replacing them, I don't think I could watch if they aren't on.

Unfortunately I had to miss last night's episode due to an out of town funeral, but I may watch on CBS.com tonight.

Suzanne

Has that been shown in the show? Guess I missed that.

Cast dispute:

Reynaldo said when she was taking it off that it was left as a message. Plus 20 yrs ago he wouldn't have really cared much if he had gotten caught. He did what he needed to do for Shannon and Kelly and what came next wouldn't have mattered much. Now its 20 yrs later and we'll see what happens. Whoever assigned the case though already knew Gibbs was the shooter. So who pulled it?

I did see that after your last post. Did a quick search on it. Which is how i came upon the link I posted. I think when push comes to shove everybody will be back.

Honestly I was multitasking and got a little confused. Who is commander Bell and why is he after Gibbs?

is it about the episode with hisformer boss at cis and that daughter in law and granddaughter

I thought it was the best show in months! And I'm glad the lawyer/girlfriend is mixed up with the bad guys-good way to get her out of Gibbs' bed!

Does anyone know what Rule #44 is?

Not sure if there is a Rule #44. These are all I found so far:

Rule #1: Never let suspects stay together.
Ep 101 "Yankee White"

Rule #1: Never screw over your partner.
Ep 414 "Blowback"

Rule #2: Always wear gloves at a crime scene.
Ep 101 "Yankee White"

Rule #3: Don't believe what you're told. Double check.
Ep 101 "Yankee White"

Rule #3: Never be unreachable.
Ep 313 "Deception"

Rule #4: The best way to keep a secret? Keep it to yourself. Second best? Tell one other person - if you must. There is no third best.
Ep 414 "Blowback"

Rule #7: Always be specific when you lie.
Ep 123 "Reveille"

Rule #8: Never take anything for granted.
Ep 310 "Probie"

Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife.
Ep 113 "One Shot, One Kill" and Ep 120 "Missing"

Rule #12: Never date a coworker.
Ep 115 "Enigma"

Rule #15: Always work as a team.
Ep 505 "Leap of Faith"

Rule #18: It's better to seek forgiveness than ask permission.
Ep 304 "Silver War"

Rule #22: Never, ever bother Gibbs in interrogation.
Ep 410 "Smoked"

Rule #23: Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live.
Ep 209 "Forced Entry"

Rule #27: There are two ways to follow: 1st way they never notice you; 2nd way they only notice you. -- Jack Knife.

Rule #38: Your case, your lead.

Rule #?: Never say you're sorry.

humm not sure if never say i'm sorry is a rule - i've heard him say it to McGee but he never said "Rule XX - Never say sorry"

my guess is the rule #44 is something more like a code then a rule - like get your a out of there.

oh well there you go - rule 6 - never apologize

RULE #44

"First things first. Hide the women and children"

Apparently it was Shannon's idea to have the rules but she didn't know Gibbs was going to write them down.

Rule #51 - a new one.

Some times your wrong.

Ok I'm confused a bit. Was Vance in on this with Gibbs? How did he get the text? Is Alejandro really a bad guy? I know there are more that I will think of...
