Not only did I buy a skirt, I'm not wearing jeans today either (but I'm still wearing my skull thumb ring...I haven't gone completely insane).

When I found out my wife was "Interested" in me I was also flattered, but since we all know the Male is not the smarter of the sexes it still took me over two months before I acted on it, because I was sure there was no way it was true. That was almost 28 years ago and I still have a hard time believing it.

I would think he'd at least consider it. The two people who know I'm interested in him have both said that he's put it out there that he's interested in dating again. I would have thought that he'd at least talk to me and try to get to know me, but so far...nothing.

The only thing I can think is that he's confused, because I use my middle name at work, but I'm under my first name in the email list. Then again, I'm sure he knows my last name...

Or maybe he's busy right now. Or, as someone else suggested, he wants to talk to me in person. But I don't know...when I get that response and then silence, 9 times out of 10 that means he's not interested. I was hoping that this one would be the 1 out of 10 that would give me a chance...

Howdy Everyone Been real busy lately. Packed all day. One of my good friends came over and helped me get organized as to what I will take with my on the plane, what I will ship and what will stay at the house.

Brett found out today that OCTA wants him permanently. First his engineering company said 30 days, then 60 days, then it was to be 90 days and today they said we want you to stay FOREVER!!! Yeah, for Brett as just in the 30 days he has been there; he loves his job, the people, the position and most of all So. Cal.

This is very hard on me leaving my elderly parents whom I am very close to. They have promised to come for XMAS. I am flying them out. Not to mention my 3 sisters and 1 brother and their families, who all live here in the East.

My son, Mike, working now in New Mexico for the summer has decided he wants to come to CA when done Sept. 1st. He is now looking at UCIrvine for his Masters as well as UCLA. He had spoken of the Navy for so long but all of a sudden that appears to be moved from the front burner to the back burner.

OK, enough about me.


LIZ, Hang in there. And I am with Lisa on exactly what she said. You email him, suggest that you decided to email him because you were not sure if he knew your email addy was under your first name and that you go by your middle name at work and then jump into a convo....sometimes (most times) guys like the girls taking a little initiative and you would be doing that by emailing him first. Suggest you two go for coffee and see where that goes. Like Keith said, he did not believe the Sorceress was interested in him and took 2 months for him to approach her!!!

Maxine already asked him about coffee and he's "not into it." She told me to give it a few days. Gotta love it...I scared this one off before he's even said more than "hello" to me.

I'm starting to once again feel like a short, fat, ugly little troll.

Is it the Santa Ana office? I almost went to work there. I accepted a position here at UCI the day before they made me an offer.

UCI is a nice campus I don't know much about the Academic end of it. I do run a few lunch study groups for some Co-Eds, but they think I am a Professor..not sure how they got that idea.
