I originally booked our May WDW vacation as the Princess and Prince Package when it was available, but decided to price out the Magic Your Way package with dining when it came out. At first I was quoted an increase of $30 for the change, so I thought that I would be OK with giving up the things that went with the P&P package for the dining options. So I had the travel agent I was working with book it. To both of our surprises my name was in the system for a code, so the change in package dropped our price by over $500 with the use of a code. Hey great I will take it. The TA questioned WDW up and down about the drop, and multiple people insisted that it was this wonderful pin code.
Today I have decided that instead of staying off site the first night we are in the WDW area, I wanted to stay onsite at either a value or maderate resort so that we can chill out by the pool and relax before starting our package. My TA checks with WDW to get us the code rate for that night, and now finds out that our original package booking was booked using an OLD CODE that we should have not been able to use with the package.
Major screw up on WDW that is totally in our favor, 
as we have the fax stating what our price for the package is. (Over $500 less than what the WDW resort site quotes it out to be).
I cannot believe that something like this actually went my way. Needless to say I do not have a code for the extra night, but will book it with my AAA discount. I think that we will stay at POFQ as I think my water rats (DD4
and DS5 
) will love the pool and water slide there.
