Hi Erika! We are at the BC right now and I'll say hi if I see you around. We are checking out Tuesday around 1:30pm. As far as the fp+'s go, you can still walk on most rides the first two hours of the morning if you get there at rope drop. Smart veterans like your family probably already know exactly how to avoid the crowds. Just schedule your fp's for later in the day or in the evening, and you'll be fine.

I'm wondering if I will regret not booking more fp times for evening. But nothing really fit in around our dinner reservations. I do have fp's for wishes and fantasmic though. We will just go with the flow, as the turtle would say.

Joining in, really I will be there the tail end of your trip. Not BC, but POP. My DD is a guest at a GF wedding the 28th, and I'm going to babysit for my 18m/o grandchild. Thrilled to be able to go back so soon, looking forward to a trip back to the POP, and hoping to see a disney bride. GD loves disney characters, and knows them by name.
How absolutely exciting for you to celebrate your birthday at the BC. It is a great location with flower and garden festival at Epcot, and all of the great dining locations nearby. I'll say hi if I happen to see you.

To be honest, I'm glad that I booked morning fastpasses today. We got in all our rides, some walk ons, some fp's, ate lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and we were back at the BC at 2pm. It was great. But for Epcot we like to do the fp for Soarin' at night, because the fp line is really short then.

I think you'll be happy with your plan! That's how we booked our FP+ - all late morning and bail for the resort shortly after our lunch ADR. It worked really well.

We did book one evening FP+ for Soarin last time, but found that the evening FP+ line wasn't quite as fast as our late morning ones. And we had to fit it in between club lounge snacks and our dinner ADR, so less relaxing than our typical evening routine. As I result, I think evening FP+ is not for us!

This is what I was thinking too. We usually don't leave resort until 6:00 or 7:00 pm. Most of our dinners are scheduled for 8:00ish, I just couldn't figure out a way to make it work logistically.

I'm guessing everyone has seen the AWESOME Mickey box the AP magic bands come in by now!!!! I wasn't even going to fill out shipping for mine since I already have all the colors, but now I've just got to have that box.

The weather for next week is looking a bit rainy. Liquid sunshine of course but we've decided to rent a car just in case... even though we typically love taking ME, a car might come in handy.

I just made all our FP reservations yesterday, and did the same thing. We are RD people, and usually leave the park around 2 or 3PM to cool off, clean up and head out to a late dinner. I'm anxious to see how you do with the new system. Have a great trip!

We'll be at an airport hotel tonight, it was only $30 to leave our car at the Hilton for 9 days vs. having to pay about $15 a day to park at the airport. With our Hilton points we can stay there for free so this was a better deal.
I emailed IPO to let them know we wouldn't be using our ME reservation. Hopefully things go smoothly tomorrow getting the car!
