The Murphy's are LIVE!
from Disney's Boardwalk Inn (Jan. 6-10)
& Disney's Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary (Jan. 10-13)​

Greetings DIS friends!!!!!!! Please join us for a live trip report starting this Sunday, January 6th!!! It will be DH (40), DS (13), DS (11), and myself (39) for seven nights. We would love to have you along on what is sure to be a memorable vacation!

The Plan:
4 nights at BWI CL - room only
3 nights at BLT studio - points rental
Tickets - annual passes
No dining plan, ADRs booked for: Crystal Palace, Kona Cafe, Hacidenda, Teppen Edo, Be Out Guest, and Sci-fi Dine In.
Flying Southwest and taking Magical Express
DH and his brothers running in the Half and Full Marathons

Those of you on the resort board I chat with know I broke my toe Tuesday so it looks like I'll be renting some type of wheelchair or scooter for the week. Still trying to decide what to do about that. Right now I'm walking on a cane with a very uncomfortable velcro boot. I called and left a voicemail message for buena vista rentals but haven't received a call back yet.

Still going to make the best of it and have a great week I'm sure!!!!

If anyone has any questions or would like me to investigate anything, please let me know. I will be tweeting live and posting lots of pics there and here.

YaY!!! We will be there at the exact same time!!! We are staying at AOA Nemo suite!!! Look for us. We have a January Disers tag on our stroller and my bagpack. It's blue and black and mine says Moore!! Hope to see you there and I hope that your toe feels better with each passing day! I'm sure you will still have a great time!!

We are at Pop Century. ( myself, DD 19 and DD friend 19)

My daughter is doing the Disney College Program and checks in on Monday.
We are planning to do as much as we can tomorrow in MGM and Magic Kingdom.

It was 3 degrees in Syracuse NY when we left this morning and 72 in Orlando when we landed.

I did online check in and had no problems when I got here to pick up the keys.

There is a bounceback offer in the packet of paperwork they gave me.
(not sure of dates or rates, I can look tomorrow, it's in the car.)

Hoping the crowds are manageable tomorrow.

Packing, laundry, packing, laundry, less than 48 hours to go!!!

I called and rented a wheelchair... BWI IPO told me to contact Buena Vista Scooter, they seemed nice and said the wheelchair would be waiting for me at the lobby concierge Sunday and it was only $85 for the whole week. I thought that was a good deal. That way I have it whenever I want it and I won't have to worry about renting one in the parks. I definitely want to try and walk some though, maybe just taking shifts up and down to give myself a break. I can put pressure on my heel as long as I don't touch the ball of my foot to the ground. I feel like I've already tripled the strength in my left calf muscle!

My kids are so funny, they think I'm slightly mental when it comes to WDW vacation prep. I'm constantly asking them if they want to pack autograph books, hats, lanyards, toys, etc, and they just look at me like I'm crazy. Stop growing up and trying to be cool!!! Be a child forever like your mother!!!!

All packed and ready to go! Tomorrow morning we fly into Orlando, take ME to BWI, then we plan to hit the last night of the Osborne Lights followed by a late dinner at Sci-fi. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoying the photos and happy for you and your family! Always happy to hear about Pete! A question if you have time - last time we stayed BWI CL, they didn't have a fridge for drinks or juice boxes in the club lounge. Has that changed?
