Is it true that its no worse than Big Thunder Mountain at Disney? Or does it have huge drops, upside down moves and things like that? Thanks in advance.

I would say it is no worse than Spacemountain. It doesn't go upside down but there is a fast launch.

I am not a coaster person, but I rode the Mummy like 10 times last week. I was so scared beforehand. I found it very mild. No upside downs etc. The ride is very fun.

I believe the biggest drop is 20ft. the speed and the special effects are the scare factor. No inversions or anything like that. There is one pretty sharp turn and some banking turns.

As far as the ride goes, it is pretty mild, there aren't a lot of drops and you don't go upside down or anything. It is fast moving and the effects are awesome. Even if you are scared I would definitely try it out. I was scared the first time I rode it but I loved it so much I got back in line!

I totally agree...this ride was a cake-walk to me after Rock-N-RollerCoaster at MGM. (I don't like loops//inversions)

The Mummy was AWESOME though

This is good to know, I can ride SM and BTM no problem, but will not get on RNR or TOT.

I don't know why people are scared of the rides, they're fun.
There is a sharp right turn at the top of the lift. If you hang on tight, you'll be ok.

Well, as a Ride Chicken, I can speak to that robvia. Those of us find certain motions very uncomfortable (for me, it's drops. Even Pirates bugs me - I hate that little feeling in the pit of my stomach). Thus a standard coaster only looks to us like say a dentist's chaor might look to others - a source of pain. We are inticed to rides (I've done ToT - once - screaming - by the things to see on them, but would be just as happy if our log at Splash Mt. took a slow route back down.

I think it depends on where you ride it too though- we sat in the front row two times and it was fine - one of the CM's said the scariest place was the back row. I did not try it but somehow I believed her.
