The Mr & Mrs do disney Nov/Dec 09 - UPDATE : can the last one out turn the lights off

Way to go, I am so proud of you. I took my driving road test when I was 19, I did great until the very end when the instructor said, ok just park here, I was so excited for it to be over, I jumped the curb, knocked over a sign and went into the bushes. But I still passed, they actually made me a lisenced driver. Go Figure.

Glad he still passed you. I only got one mark off, I didn't look both ways at the stop. There was a fence to the right I really didn't expect a car to come out of a 6 foot privacy fence.I guess he did.

:lmao: that is so something that I would do!! It's great that the instructor still passed you though :rotfl2: Thankyou for your kind words
You will do great on your test, I just know it.:cheer2:

What freaked me out about my instructor was he only had one arm, the other was a hook, he kept point with it, "Turn left over here." Points the hook across my view.
He was really jumpy too, he kept pumping the imaginary break:lmao:

Any new Disney purchases that you want to tell us about, maybe something you are thinking on purchasing? I am thinking about getting the mammoth crocs.

You will do awesome on the test and pass with flying colors!!! I actually failed my first time for something so silly, and now I never make that mistake: when I was making my left turn, I turned into the far lane (the right lane) instead of the left lane. Automatic fail! But, you have nothing to worry about. Stay calm and just your your thing, girl!!! And think of all the unrestricted shopping you'll be able to do.

I'm showing my age, driving test so long ago they didn't even take you out on the road it was a closed course. I did pass. Yesterday had lots to do, today way boring to the point of commatose, took forever to end. One good thing happened yesterday, I paid the final payment for Disney:woohoo::woohoo: now to save for fun. 2 months worth of pay days to do that.

YAY for paying the final payment :woohoo: We will be doing ours next month, hope its when the exchange rate is good

You will do great on your test, I just know it.:cheer2:

Thankyou  I hope I do!! I'll be soooo nervous on the day!! You'll hear me screaming over the pond if he tells me i've passed :lmao:

 Sounds like you had a crazy driving test, definately one to remember :lmao:

i'm ashamed to admit that i've never even tried a pair of crocs on  Are they really as comfy as everyone says?

I'll tell you what I bought and will post pics over the weekend. From disney store UK I got the CUTEST stitch toys EVER! One is a limited edition stitch soft toy dressed as a vampire and the other one he's dressed as a little pumpkin and when you squish him he gives a cheeky/evil laugh - I looooove them

Then from disney store US (thats where I kinda went a bit shopping mad :lmao: ) I bought 2 large stitch snowglobes - been drooling over them for months and when I saw they'd been reduced to 1/2 price I just had to get them! I also got a stitch 'gemini' horoscope mug - which is huge! I thought it was going to be alot smaller, as the price was so cheap! I love it :cutie: I also got 2 shirts for our trip - one has got stitch & my name on it and the other one has got a pink heart with mickey & minnie sat inside and I've had it personalised with 'Disney bride 2008' on it :cloud9:

I am so disappointed with one of my purchases though :headache: It is a beautiful christmas tree decoration with cinderella and price on the top and then the words 'Happily ever after 2008' on the bauble - it then has a silver dangly bit underneath that should have been engraved with our names but they didnt do it :sad1: So i'm going to take it with us to the xmas shop at DTD and I'm hopeing they can do it for us?? Does anyone know if this can be done??

Thanks sweetie  I can't wait for unrestricted shopping, although DH has got other ideas :lmao:

Sorry to hear it didn't get engraved, I don't know if they do it or not but I would give it a shot. Feels good not to have to worry about payments anymore just spending money and lots of it. I hope your exchange rate is good cause that means more spending money for more stitches:cool1::cool1: We all need little squishys in our life, I'm an eeyore and squirt fan. My Dh got me one that talks in wdw the last time we were there and he's one of my favs.:lovestruc

:scared1:You have never tried on a pair of crocs? They are heaven for the feet, They're also as ugly as sin, but I would wrap my feet in warty toads if it would relieve the foot pain that a Disney trip could bring on.

I was cocless for my first ever trip to Disney, I had Spaceship earth size blisters, for my second trip I had the crocs, and my feet felt so good, not one blister, and my feet blister easily, I blister at work (They don't allow crocs) my feet didn't even feel tired. It's like walking on soft sponges. Plus I got to decorate them with Disney jibbitz. ( I take the jibbitz off at home though)
Your purchases sound so cool, ummm...let me guess....you like stitch:lmao: I can't wait to see all the pics.

I am so sorry they didn't engrave it for you, that would rot my socks, I say go ahead and ask if Disney can do it for you, they aim to please, the worst that could happen is they would say no, and if they do say no, I know just about any jeweler would engrave it for you.

I have never had a pair of crocs either, but i have had my eye on the black and red fuzzy Mickey head ones. I know they are buy one get one free but I'm not sure I could convince DH into getting a pair. Plus when I brought up the idea he sort of mocked me. I won him over a little bit when I I said they were good dog walking shoes. So I'll see what kind of magic I can work.

So if you're into amazingly comfortable things for your feet, I have the best slippers. http://www.restorationhardware.com/...=prod230090&navAction=jump&_requestid=1527243
They are called foot duvets and they are exactly what they sound like. It's like putting your foot into a feather pillow. The ones they usually have for the winter a fur lined and oh they are amazing.

I've never had a pair of crocs before either but I think I'm gonna get a pair just for a back up shoe to wear around the lodge and stuff like that. my DH thinks they are b___t ugly but I think me feet will thank me.:yay:

Haha! Our whole family made fun of everyone wearing them everywhere! (In and out of Disney) Then, last time we were there, we were in AK and my flip flop broke! Well, not only were they my favorite flip flops (very worn...probably why they broke), but they could not be fixed! The part that goes between the toes detached from the bottom. Anyway, I went into the nearest shop (carefully since I had to shuffle one foot). It was probably quite comical to watch! The ONLY shoes or anything that they were selling in there that came in my size was a pair of Disney crocs. They were the black ones with the red strap and Mickey heads for the holes. Well....guess what...the shoes I once joined the family in making fun of...were on my feet as I left the shop! So, after wearing them the rest of that day, I was sold! I wore them the rest of the trip! SUPER COMFY!!!!!!!!!

I have to join this band wagon! I too used to laugh and make fun of people that wore them. Then I got a part time job at my cousin's shoe store and I was amazed by the people that came in to buy them. Doctors, chefs, nurses - people that were on there feet 10-15 hours a day that SWORE by them. So, with my discount I thought - what the heck - and bought a pair in white (which in my eyes is really a light gray!). I feel in love. I got them before my trip to Disney in '06. I wore them all 4 days in the park and was amazed to have, no blisters, no pain, no foot fatigue! I came home and bought a pair in bright pink! I too have got my eye on the black with red fur Mickey Mammoth ones... Madi got em for her birthday and I really want them on my feet :lmao:

I have 2 pair of crocs and 1 pair of the flip flop crocs. I used to laugh at the croc wearers too, but never again. I also have my eye on the black/red fur mickey mammoths, but will probably just end up with the all black everyday mammoth. I wish they would let us wear them at work though.

Just wanted to let you all know that i'm not ignoring you! I havent been online much the past few days as I've not been too well :sad1: I suffer badly with my 'lady problems' and it's been getting worse and worse every month. I hate going doctors / hospitals but decided I needed to go because I just cant cope anymore. The doctor sent me for blood tests and one minute I was fine and was talking to the nurse about our disney trip and the next minute I felt ill and blacked out. Told you that hospitals dont have a good affect on me  Should get my results next week and if everything is ok with my blood then they want to do other tests :headache:

I'm just curled up on the sofa with pain and no energy to do anything :sad1:
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm not igoring you if you dont hear from me :grouphug:

Thanks for the advice about getting some crocs, I think i'll get myself a pair on our trip and give them ago because I'm always getting sore feet and blisters no matter what shoes I wear.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better!

Oh, you poor girl, lady problem pains are the worst. I hope you feel better and that the Dr.s are able to help lessen the pain for you.

Sorry you are feeling so yucky. Plenty of rest, hot baths and relaxing Disney music. Sometimes it helps. My kids are being obnoxious so at least you don't have that added on to it. Sometimes I would prefer the female problems. Maybe I'll go take a hot bath and turn on some Disney music.:cloud9: Calgon take me away.....
