The Movie The Birds

Yes, I was very frightened when watching The Birds as a child. Those two actresses Suzanne Pleshette and Tippi Hedren were very beautiful. Still remember the shock of seeing Suzanne's Pleshette's ravaged body.

I saw it recently and really enjoyed it, wasn't scared in the least.

Now, Rosemary's Baby , that is scary and creepy. Especially the creepy old neighbours. I shudder thinking of it. Very disturbing movie.

We have it on here too!

My Fav Hitchcok movie!:thumbsup2

The bird lady with the hat in the diner...STILL freaks me out!:lmao:

Village of the Damned. The original in black and white, not the remake by Christopher Reeves. I was really little and I remember watching it on tv with my Dad. All those blonde kids with the freaky eyes that could read your mind! :scared1: There were a lot of Godzilla movies when I was little but they didn't scare me. I always felt sorry for the monster.

Poltergeist freaked me out at the time with the moving steak and the guy peeling his own face off. Both seem pretty cheesy special effects now.

Its on NEXT!:thumbsup2 Awesome movie, I watched it when I was Preganant with DH!:sad2: Almost went into premature labor.

I was terrified of The Shinning and Watcher in the Woods when I was little. I'd still watch them though. :rotfl2: And, any scene from the Wizard of Oz with the Wicked Witch of the West in it.

It's the flying monkeys for me. Very creepy. Very very creepy -- even the music

As for The Shining : REDRUM REDRUM

Not a movie, but that show "Night Stalker." I watched that once when I was like 4th grade or so. Dang, I was so skeeved out after that :scared: I've seen it since then and I'm always rotflmao at how stupid it is.

same here I thought thatw a sso good, saw a rerun a couple of years ago, man is that stupid. Cantw8 I so know what you mean but the birds never did freak me out

4 people from the Poltergeist who are no longer living? The Blond haired girl, the Older DD and the Medium.("this house is clean.")

Steel Magnolias. It scared the heck out of me whenever I saw it was coming on the television. Now I have like 200 channels.

Well, considering how old that movie is, that doesn't really shock me too much.

Rosemary's Baby was the late movie when I was in the hospital after giving birth to my son:eek: :rotfl: Very Creepy

By any chance was Ruth Gordon your next door neighbor?:scared1:

How about Burnt Offerings? That was pretty scary as a kid.

I had to sleep with my parents for a week because of this one. :scared1:

Ruth Gordon! That was her name. She was so creepy. :scared: And, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was freaked out by those freakin monkeys in the Wizard of Oz. Until now, I thought I was the only one.

BTW I loved David Hedison. Why isn't he more popular?

I'd like to get some of those flying monkeys.

Invaders from Mars - I was a little kid (about 7-8) and used to take my little brother to the movies every Saturday on 8 mile road in the Detroit area. That area alone is so scary today. (think of eminem's move 8 mile road).

It was from a kid's point of view and the people who were "taken over" had this weird x on the back of their neck. It freaked me out so badly that I took my little brother into the lobby and just "peaked" in every once in awhile until it was over.

Yeah, I know. How cool would that be? You could send them out to the 7-11 for you. Pick up some beer and skittles.

I was thinking more like sending them out to scare the crap out of any one who pisses me off but, hey, skittles and beer will work too! :thumbsup2

Oh my word - YES! This one scared the crap outta me!! (but talk about cheesy!)

It's like a little trip down memory lane, isn't it?

The Trilogy of Terror movie with Karen Black and this guy caused more nightmares than I can remember.
