Just a room. No more than 4 people in the room.

I'm cheap when it comes to paying for hotel rooms.... kills me to spend more than $100 a night, but I have paid $160.

Poll Coming.

I've paid I'm thinking $325.00 ish @ AK for Conceirge the year it opened. I also stayed at GF no discount...before I knew what I was doing.

We have paid over $500 on numerous trips but prefer to keep it around $350 or so. The CR and the Poly is generally in that range.

the most we ever paid was at the Poly last August...we were originally booked at POR, but received a very generous gift from DH's uncle that year for Christmas, so we decided to splurge. I would have never spent that much if it wasn't for that extra money though!!

For Disney, I would like to keep it around $150ish per night or less, but for outside of Disney, I would rather see under $100. I'm trying to book a room for the night before our cruise in August and not having much luck :guilty:

$285 a night for the Polynesian Lagoon View Concierge was the most I've ever paid at any hotel.

Teresa

Close to $500- Poly Lagoon concierge.

Thank God our family isn't Disney addicted!

I just paid $232 a night for this place, but it is a whole cabin. It has a hot tub. Price includes a gift basket, a $50 restaurant voucher, and a bouquet of flowers.

So $464 for 2 nights INCLUDING all that and tax.

Sonnenalp Resort in Vail, Colorado July, 2004 - $435 per night.

30th anniversary trip - worth every penny :goodvibes

Paid $149.00 for a room at the Music Road Inn in Pigeon Forge and The Biltmore Inn. Gonna pay $174.00 for Wilderness Lodge in Sept. I'm to cheap to spend very much over that on a room.

I think $200 a night is the most I paid, but I try to keep it around $100 or less whenever possible. Our upcomming trip to Disneyland is only $59 a night! :goodvibes:

We paid around $300 for a B&B package at the Hotel Hershey over Thanksgiving and honestly it was worth every penny.

Well, I've yet to find much of a discount at the Grand Californian. That's where DH & I like to stay when it's just the two of us. When we needed 3 rooms, we booked the Disneyland Hotel!

We paid over $500 per night for our honeymoon (split our stay between a honeymoon room at the Grand Floridian and a garden suite at the BoardWalk Inn). For us it was totally worth it, but we did get good discounts. Outside of my honeymoon, I would guess it's probably been the AKL CL for about $360 per night plus tax. Outside of WDW we never spend that much on a hotel room, LOL.

It's not the most we've ever paid, but it definitely is the most we paid if you consider it was in 1990--we paid $200 a night for the Grand Floridian on our honeymoon. That was a fortune when I was 25 years old. LOL.

I wonder what a pool view room in early May at the GF goes for now?

$139 + tax at the beach was my top. I always aim between 50 - 100 and sometimes less with a coupon or deal. We're more likely to spend less and stay farther away.

That's what I was wondering - for those that have paid big $$ for hotel rooms, did you feel it was worth it?

We have paid $179 for a regular room and $240 ish for a studio at BVW many moons ago. I too am in the less than $100 crowd. It amazes me what some hotels charge. I've gotten really nice rooms at hotels with nice amenities for $69 per night and I've paid $130 per night for poor service & a bed - all at national chains.

BTW since I asked. The $179 was for the Hyatt at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore & yes it was well worth it. We actually ended up with 3 rooms overlooking the harbor for that $179 due to a mistake made by Hyatt ressies & then by the front desk staff. Others attending the same wedding were ticked because for their $179 they recieved a standard two bed room with no view.

Now everytime we drive the hour to Baltimore my kids think we should stay at the Hyatt. :rotfl2: I tell them "as soon as I hit the MegaMillions"

One very expensive night at the Disney Hotel at WDW Paris that is AT the entrance It was worth it, it was December and cold. The hotel was literally at the gate and it was a very nice hotel. I have had business hotels in the $200 range several times.

We've paid in the high $300's for last minute rooms at WDW during New Years week. I think $399 might have been tops for one night at the Poly before AP rates kicked in.

Outside of Disney, we paid about $375/night for The Beverly Hills Hotel. Worth. Every. Penny.

The older I get, the less I'm willing to compromise on hotels. This is part of the reason we joined DVC. My All-Star days are over! Outside of WDW, we rarely pay for hotels. Either DH's work covers it as part of a business trip, or we cash in reward points.

The most I paid was for a night at the Grand Californian. I know it was over 300.00 but don't remember the exact price. I couldn't believe I was doing it.
