What *thing* do you find the most under rated - the least mentioned on message boards, and books, etc?

For me?

Restaurant: Trails End Buffeteria. Why hasnt this joint caught on? Its the cheapest of the buffet's, and oh-so-tasty-too! :thumbsup2

Ride: TTA - WEDway PeopleMover - whatever you wanna call it.... I could sit on this baby alllll day long! :teeth:

How about you?

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

(We want to keep it that way.)

;)

Ride: Carousel of Progress - I love that thing! so, the animatronics are a little noisy and it needs to be buffed up a little but it's amazing! my friend had never been on it so i made her go on it last march and she fell asleep! i couldn't believe it! perhaps it's just the nerdy historian in me...

Movie: Goofy Movie - just amazing, I feel like people don't appreciate it as much as i do but it has so much heart and I can really identify with Max (my dad is similarly embarrassing but i love him anyway :) )

gosh, it's hard to think of things that are underrated in the World! although, i can think of a few things i think are overrated (Buzz Lightyear, dinner with Cinderella at CRT!)

Flag lowering ceremony in Magic Kingdom.

Maybe I am just too patriotic.

Although I did like it better when the doves were "in" it!

Underrated let's see.......I agree with the Peoplemover and Carousel of Progress, I also love Spaceship Earth, El Rio del Tiempo, Walt Disney-One Mans Story, and ESPN.

Smart Watermelon at the Coke Display in Epcot, best soda I've ever tasted by far

the Peoplemover also

Completely agree with the Wedway and COP--also I really favor Living With The Land--such a nice ride! I also enjoy taking a spin or twenty on the train throughout our stay.

ITA.

A Goofy Movie is a masterpiece!
The songs are really amazing and the humor is terrific!
(If you're an "Audio Animatronics" fan, "Lester's Possum Park" is hysterical!)

So many references to "Disney Stuff", too.

If you havn't seen "A Goofy Movie"... rent it (oh, just BUY it) TODAY!

(Now... why the heck was the sequel, An Extremely Goofy Movie, NOTHING like the original? What a disappointment.)

I think AK is the most underrated park -- just beautiful. I could spend days there.

Lester's Possum Park is by far my fav part of the movie!!! and i cannot go to Country Bear Jamboree anymore without wanting to sing "now gather round my possum pals..." :rotfl2:

but i actually do enjoy the Extremely Goofy Movie - yes it's completely different but i actually saw that one first and got addicted, I only saw the first when my dad bought me both videos for Christmas that year! the "shake your groove thing" part is amazing, as well as Bebe Neuwirth (one of my favorite actresses) as Miss Marpole the librarian!

For people who want to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort and who don't want to pay extra for a "preferred location," it seems everyone raves about requesting a room in the Jamaica section. ARUBA is soooooo underrated. It's a mirror image of Jamaica -- it's exactly the same distance from the bridge leading to Old Port Royale as is Jamaica.

Attraction--One Man's Dream. I tear up everytime I watch it.

Movie--Emperors(sp?) New Groove--I love this movie.

MK- TTA/COP
Epcot- Spaceship Earth/Living with the Land
MGM- One Man's Dream
AK- Flights of Wonder
Restaruant- Trails End

Movie - Emporer's New Groove (funniest movie of all time and gets no credit)
Epcot- Morrocco (love this land, the food, the nooks and crannies)
AK - agree with the Flights of Wonder
MGM - Honey, I shrunk the kids palyground--great photo ops.
MK-Main Street--would love to linger here, but always seem to be in such a hurry.

The Living with the Land ride...love this ride & got great pics to scrapbook
Wedway peoplemover....so relaxing...love going thru Space Mountain
AK....a great park & so carefully planned out and done...not just a zoo, as some say :sad2:

Most underrated:

Adult Night Spot: Jelly Rolls

MK: Keys to Kingdom Tour

EPCOT: Spaceship Earth

Studios: One Man's Dream

AK: Any place with Air Conditioning in the Summer

I don't see a lot of comments about the Enchanted Tiki Room and given, I've only been to disney once back in the early 80's, this was my favorite. Does no one else like it??

So on the bus to Epcot yesterday leaving AK..I hear a family discussing their experience.
Kids: AK was alright...I sorta liked it. Everest makes it better, I think.
Parents: Yea...but we have a zoo by our house this is kind of boring. No way I could spend a day there.

Animal Kingdome is 'Nahtazu!'.

Later on in the ride:
Parents: Hey kids, you all want to ride that one ride in the big golf ball with all the talking robots in it?
Kids: No way! I definately give that ride a thumbsdown.

Spaceship Earth is one of my fave. rides.
WDW is not known for its intense thrill rides. If that is what you value, then you are better off heading to that theme park down the road.

I agree. To many visitors think it is all about rides. It is all about Imagineering. and they did a great job, but are not apreciated for it. I love this park. So much to see and enjoy..

Also underated is Typhoon Lagoon. Love it, Love it LOVE IT!!! :thumbsup2
