The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

So as I said I've been reading along for quite a while but for some reason I've not posted. :confused3 Well now I am! It is so neat that your wife can work toward trip points and such. :goodvibes

You've been in June before? So how do you beat the heat??? We always go when it's cold. Except for one trip in May2008. It was HOT. I live in the south and I'm used to the heat and humidity. But walking on that cement all day in the heat.....I need to evaluate the situation and come up with some ideas!! I bet we end up in the pool a lot on this trip. :lmao:

June 2007...hot, humid...sweat dripping down your back.....

The pool is your friend and know your A/C rides well. Know which rides have most of their queue lines outside (even if shaded) and which attractions are mostly indoors.

oooh very good points!! I'm going to have to step up my planning game this time. Perhaps plan the outdoor que for early morning or late evening/night. :thumbsup2

Our last two trips, 2005 (which is fading from memory at this point) and last year were in the summer. Actually, last year's was late June and into early July. Yes, it gets HOT. We tried to do rope-drops (always just a wee bit late, but close) and get out early afternoon and go back to the pool.

Yes, but the problem is, with the crowds, the sweat dripping down your back may not always be your sweat. :scared1: (just kidding)

A TS meal every day around 2:00.

:thumbsup2

That'd be good. But our strategy was to get in early and get out around that time.

Unless that outdoor queue is for dole whips!

:rotfl2: Yeah, i'm sure that's a good plan too! We may just head back to the resort for a swim by that point.

::yes::

Best of all worlds then: A TS meal at you resort, then naps, then pool.

Hmmmm. Sanaa.

June 13-19th. It'll be a hot one I'm sure! But I do plan on FINALLY getting to visit Typhoon Lagoon!

Right now I'm planning our TL day for Tuesday the 15th.

:thumbsup2

TL....oh how I miss thee.

:sad1:

I've seen the pix, you can't miss with Sanaa!

I'm curious about the lunch menu....there's a pork chop that's only on the lunch menu that's supposed to be really good. I think Jordan was going to try it. Now I'm just hoping that I'll hear about it before I go in June. :rotfl2:

I haven't been to TL in nearly 13 years! We're finally going to get there in May! I hope the kids love it as much as they do BB!

I haven't been to either one. I'm thinking we'll try TL first, and then BB another time as some of the BB rides are supposed to be a little more intense.

If not, maybe I'll hear before I go in June!

If we hit a waterpark this trip it will be TL. BB just sounds too white for me!
Thinking about the glare...:scared1:

Where are you thinking of staying?

Ummm, ok I just realized you said WHERE and not WHEN. DUH!!!

We're staying AKV - 1BDRM - KIDANI -Savannah View!!

EEEEWW!!!!! About the sweat!! :sad2:
I  Dole Whips!!

I would love to add another day to our trip and we DO have a few extra points more than it would cost for our trip next summer. But not enough for a Saturday at AKV-SV-1bdrm. Not sure what to do. Hmmmmm, going to look and see how much a studio would cost for 1 night. :rolleyes1

 Better to stay in a studio before you move into a 1-bedroom -- you'll never want to look back! :snooty:
