The most awesome place to stay offsite?

Where is the very best place to stay outside of Disney? I am just wondering. A very nice upscale hotel with a really awesome themed pool for the family. Must be very close to Disney as well. I know if anyone was to ask me which Disney hotel has the very best pool, no brainer, Beach Club. What about offsite?

Reunion Resort is nice. It's about 10 min to Disney property. It has it's own waterpark plus golf, spa, 7 other pools and lots of sport type stuff.

It's fairly expensive to rent from the resort although they do have a buy 1night and get one free deal. You can also rent from a private owner and get good deals especially condo or townhouse.

They open on October 1st, and you can use their pool or the Hilton's next door. It is surrounded by Disney, just east of Pop, and southeast of Epcot.

We love to stay offsite and have stayed at some very nice hotels. Our favorite is probably the Ritz Carlton. You have access to the JW Marriotts lazy river pool.

I stayed here with my dad and sister for my very first trip to Disney back in 1986 and I remember thinking how beautiful it was. I don't know if they still do this, but back then they turned your bed down every night and left you a card with some verse about sleep and a candy on your pillow. The pool was amazing.
