The Mortal Instruments Trilogy

...is insanely epic. I'm wondering if there's anyone else around here who's as fangirlishly obsessed with these books.
The trilogy is City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass.
City of Glass just recently came out. I finished it, it was amazinggg.

I won't post any spoilers.
But, seriously, people. Check these books out. They're by Cassandra Clare.

I finished City of Glass yesterday.

I've been a fan of the books since the first one came out.

They're soooo awesome. I was a tad disappointed with CoG. I thought the ending was a tad rushed and anti-climatic.

But, just because they rule, I looked past that.

Also? Magnus/Alec=cutest couple evar. y/y?

I love these books.

I read City Of Bones in three days, City Of Ashes in two days, and City Of Glass in one day. I got my daddy to read the first one right after I finished it, got my brother to read it last month, and now my mommy is reading it

I've begun to think that in a movie version of the series, maybe Adam Lambert should play Magnus
And the guy that plays Prince Caspian should be Alec.

The ending of City of Glass... I read it when I was kind of loopy on Tylenol for my headache...hahahaa.
But I was hoping for more. It's like--, okay, let's have Valentine die. Now let's have Jace and Clary get together. Whoopdeedoo, the end. I mean, I loved it, but I wish Cassie would have stretched it out a little more, rather than having the party be a big info dump.

IDK, I've only ever seen Caspian guy be Prince Caspian... maybe he could pull off awkward.
Because Alec's awkwardness is what makes him adurrable xD

I was sick of Alec waiting for Jace. VERY tiring, that was.

And I've seen that Livejournal list. I don't know about Criss Angel for Magnus, he irritates me too much.
But the other selections are good--except Michael Cera for Simon. :/
And... I like the guy that plays Rufus Humphrey on Gossip Girl for Luke.

Yeah, but Criss has the swagger to play Magnus. You have to remember that Magnus, while adorable, has this incredible ego.

You're right about the awkwardness, but I have a pretty clear image of Simon in my head and I'm trying to find an actor that fits it.
I'll keep you posted, haha.
GB would make a great Luke, but I still can't get Rufus Humphrey out of my head as him. Also, I think that Lauren Graham would make a really good Jocelyn.
