the Monofail and more

If your ...um, "stuff" doesn't go down on the automatic flush.....doesn't everyone know that you can manually flush the darn thing by pushing the little black button??!! I will never understand why people don't just wait and see if all their junk goes down before leaving the stall!!! Shaking head... :lmao:

It always riddles me too when people 'hover' over the seat to pee because they they think it's dirty...but then proceed to pee ALL over the seat themselves and don't bother to clean it up!!!!!!!!
OK, you don't want to sit in other peoples pee pee so what makes you think anyone wants to sit in YOURS!!! :scared1:
Seriously will never understand that one!!!

I just had to agree here. The bathrooms being filthy is because of guests that are filthy. It is ridiculous to not flush a toilet, throw paper on the floor or pee on the seat and not clean it up. I understand that some times mom has to bring her son into the ladies room but please raise the seat for them to pee and lower it again when they are done or don't being them in. Also I don't know how so many women end up peeing on the seat. Even worse is not cleaning it up after they have done it. I really hope they leave their bathrooms like that at home! Disgusting!!! :headache:

will say this...I noticed on this trip that after my son was done, the seat was dry...then the those wonderful I flush all by myself toliets flushed and the seat was wet. It didn't happen every time but often enough that I noticed. Not saying that people don't pee on the seat because they do but sometimes it may just be water.

As for those who don't flush...if they flush on their own then it really isn't the person's fault. I had several toliets that would not flush...even when I tried to push the manual button.

Im in no way defending the toliets. LOL

point of clarification on the bathrooms - it was not just the MK bathroom, though that one was the worst.

Our entire stay, the bathrooms were not in good shape -- the MK one was just the worst. It was surprising as we've always found WDW bathrooms quite clean considering how many people use them.

3 different times in 3 different bathrooms my stall was out of toilet paper. Yes, I should have checked. Still, I've never experienced this at Disney before.

As for the monorail -- use it enough and it WILL break down. We used it twice while we were there...it broke one of the times. :confused3 I like it, I think it's cool, but it is in desperate need of updating.

We just got back on the 21st and I had a very different experience. :confused3 It seemed the majority of the time I took my kiddos in the bathrooms, there was a CM in there going stall to stall to make sure it was clean, flushed, had paper, etc. I thought it was wonderful...especially with a DD who turned 3 on our trip.

I know what you mean....I'm talkin' about the yellow 'water'!!! :lmao:

WATER is not yellow!!! :lmao:

LOL

Very true but pee isn't always bright yellow.

I drink loads of water and I bet if I peed on your seat...you'd never know the difference.

:lmao:

Just want you wanted to know huh?

OH so true!!!! I'll give ya that one!!! :thumbsup2
It's ALL still nasty tho!!

OK, I'm not a woman, but from hearing my wife complain about it, apparently some women are afraid to actually sit on a public bathroom seat, so the squat over it. I guess peeing on the seat you don't sit on is more hygienic then sitting on a seat that should have been clean to begin with.

:confused3

Yep, pretty disgusting. If you are going to pee on the seat at least clean it up. I am sure the people that clean those bathrooms think humans are absolutely disgusting!

Oh I completely understand that. Some of those things splash up a lot of water. Of course I then clean that off because I don't want the person coming in the stall after me thinking I peed all over the seat just in case they can't tell. Personally I can tell the difference between the toilet water and the pee on the seat though. Thanks for making sure your little guy doesn't leave pee on the seat! :)
