The Moist Exhausting Free Trip Ever - Link to Part II Thread pg. 244

Wow, you must've had such a crazy special effects budget for this update! :thumbsup2

It looks like such a fun game! I'm going to add it to the list of things my DH will love, if I can ever drag him to WDW in the first place.

10 Judys

now to read.....

That's what I was thinking when I posted. I need to hear where Marv thinks he saw other "parts".

10 Judys

Can you believe it again!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

Yes, I can believe it. :rotfl2:

12 Judy's if we're still counting parts!

Okay, let's hear it...where are you seeing all of these parts? Like I told Tanya, I was thinking the correct answer was "10".

Hmmmmm I wonder where u found more Judy parts......

You and me both.

Wow, you must've had such a crazy special effects budget for this update! :thumbsup2

Special effects? You sound like you don't believe that it happened like I described. ;)

It's pretty good. It's not a "must do" for every trip, but it doesn't take too long (as long as there isn't a line, which there wasn't when we were there), and it's kind of neat to see yourself in a game. :)

You're right, it might be something that your DH would like, and it's probably not what he'd expect out of a kids amusement park.

OOOH We did "runtime" too! Had so much fun in there. We also emailed the game to ourselves but never got it. I was really bummed out because I didn't take any pictures or video of it. We'll have to try it again next trip.

Cool game. Love the pictures. They're a little nerdy, but in a good way! I'll have to check that out, if for no other reason than I would make a great nerd on the video screen.

Okay, look at the picture again with the "three" Judy's. The one in the middle actually has another portion of Judy's head looking to the right (her left) with another arm above her left arm. The Judy on the left has another Judy arm below her right arm. I started to say only 11 since the one in the middle is more prominent, but I figured parts were parts and those are all definitely additional Judy parts!!!

I did it too but I did not take pictures. Great job on that.:thumbsup2

I also emailed and never got it.

I went back and counted several times and got 10. I can't imagine what the extra parts were but if i had to guess Judy had thin straps not thick ones on her top.

Ok he ninja posted me.

Rules Committee - those are ghosts of the Judy not additional Judy's.
Part should be defined as a partial view in a photo where the face is not visible. Like an arm, leg or fingers.

Parts are parts and you don't see them in a single other picture, not Glenn, not Marlene, not Lauren.....none of them.

If we are making appeals to the rules committee....I would like to submit an alternate answer of 2 judys. The first two......the others are computer created avatars in a Judy inspired shape.....:rolleyes1

Note - that is an alternate answer, I still reserve the right to claim 10 as my answer should this appeal be denied. ;)

That's what happened to me last year (er, in 2009...I guess this TR is taking a while if I can't say "last year" anymore and have it refer to the previous trip). I remember mentioning in my last TR, that it reminded me of the Journey videogame. Since we didn't get the e-mail in 2009, I made sure to take lots of pictures just in case we didn't get it again. Which we didn't, of course.

Cool game. Love the pictures. They're a little nerdy, but in a good way! I'll have to check that out, if for no other reason than I would make a great nerd on the video screen.

"Nerdy, but in a good way!" :rotfl2:

You'd be perfect for that game Mary Ellen. ;)

Additional parts, but I think, er I mean the Rules Committee has deemed that they're showing motion since it was a moving videogame. Good attempt though. You are definitely holding your spot as "most creative Judy-do participant". How's that? :)

This round goes to Tanya! :cheer2:

I just mentioned in my response to BlueyedGirl that the same thing happened to me in '09, so I made sure to take lots of pictures this time around.

Not sure about the straps, but you saw his ninja post.

The Committee basically agrees with you and has disallowed those particular "parts".

The Rules Committee would like me to convey the following:

"Ay carumba!"

The rules committee has been having it too easy lately. This is the first round in awhile that has had some disputes for them to mediate. Don't want them getting rusty! :lmao:

Bogus! Why isn't anyone else showing "motion" in this moving video game??? I contend they are just as much "Judy" as the three images are to start with.

I can live with the ruling, but like you said in your first two words, they ARE additional parts so all previous "parts" and any future "parts" should be similarly and consistently deemed inegligible. You can't have it both ways. Either they are, or they aren't! :sad2: :rolleyes1

Wow, looks like you all had lots of fun at Innoventions! I knew about that game, but totally forgot about it when I was there.

I LOVE your Tron references. I loved that movie, and the music! I have the ost on my ipod. I didn't know Daft Punk could do epic music.

I love James' frog! I've never seen someone put it together like that. It's so cute!

The Rules Committee also thought that this might be a more difficult round for the players, that the quick first-posters would miss the Judy in the fastpass picture or the pixilated Judy that takes up most of the game screen in that one picture. But you guys are just too sharp.

The Rules Committee has noted that they're Bogus. :teeth:

Aw, that's a shame...Andrew would've loved it.

I didn't know Daft Punk could do epic music either....or even who Daft Punk was. But I did notice during the movie that the music was pretty cool.

I love James' frog! I've never seen someone put it together like that. It's so cute!

I thought it was very "boy" with the sword and everything.

:rotfl2: Oh...my...goodness!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again - I have to get you and my husband to meet. I swear, you'd have enough in common to talk for hours. On second thought....maybe not. ;) Seriously, my entire household is caught up in Tron mania, all the way down to the two year old. Everyone but Mom, that is! I'm a little tired of hearing about lightcycles and the grid and everything else (we have the videogame for the Wii, and Santa brought lots of little Tron toys for the stockings), and then I log on and see your new post. I have to admit that I was laughing pretty hard!

We never have spent any time in Innovations! :confused3 You'd think that, since my nine-year-old has been there four times, we'd have stopped to do some of the non-headline ride things. But, no - and there's still plenty of the non-headline ride things we haven't done! I really do want to spend some time in Innovations next trip, though!

I have to second this. The computer created avatars are simply 1's and 0's. They are not true Judy's.

:rotfl:

Loved the DIS meet and all the chatter that followed - had me rolling with laughter! And Joe owns the same shirt. Does anyone out there have a husband who doesn't own that shirt????

And just an FYI - I will never, never being using the Liesa Greeting during ANY DIS meet. :lmao:

Great TRON update too! I have wanted to do that game for the past several trips, but never see it, which is VERY strange considering we have done everything else in Innoventions West....we gotta find it this time! Great job capturing images of the game. Too bad you never got the email though. Disney seems kinda hit and miss with that stuff - sometimes we get ours, sometimes we get someone else's, and sometimes we don't get it at all....:confused3 Joe has been itchin' to see TRON in IMAX 3D but hasn't gone yet. I should have sent him this weekend but didn't even think about it. :sad2:
