The misheard song lyrics thread

I’m kind of embarrassed by this one, yet I can’t stop myself from singing the wrong word. For decades, I thought they were singing “I catch the rains down in Africa.” It was only about 2 years ago that one of my teens corrected me and told me the word is bless. I have listened to the song numerous times since the correction and I just don’t hear it! Heck, we got to hear Steve Lukather of Toto sing it live a couple of months ago and it still sounded like “catch.” My daughter questions my hearing!

Not me, but I knew someone who thought this was the longest commercial on the radio and it was “Two Pop Tarts”

Until a couple of weeks ago I always thought in the same song it was “Kilimanjaro rises like an empress above the Serengeti”. But apparently it’s actually “rises like Olympus”.
