This is the one thing that stood out this trip.
It is bad enough walking down main street and dodging strollers, photopass people, and clueless "lets stop here" people. But I cant tell you how many times some one just walked straight into me because they were face down in their phone while walking.
Several times, I saw this coming and just stopped, hoping they would look up and adjust course. But BAM, walked right into me. It really stood out as a problem we as a society have created.
Everywhere you looked, if there was an outlet, someone was hovering trying to charge a device. Portable chargers and wires coming out of every pocket. At the American pavilion in EPCOT, they had to ask 8 times before the show for people to turn off their devices to respect the show and its guests, yet I still saw dimmed phones popping up all during the show.
Sorry for the rant, but if you are walking, put your dam phone away and walk already.
