The middle of the night breathers

do you all get any of those......I got a flusher this afternoon......at least it was day light hours....I tend not to stress on the phone calls that happen when the sun is still shining...........How about you.....what are your bizarre calls

Funny you should mention this Marie - got one this morning at 12:30 am - two heavy breaths and then blam - the phone got slammed in my ear - grrrrrrrrrr

ACK! Those phone calls are bad enough in the middle of the day, but in the wee hours! I would be scared to go back to sleep!

I actually used to get the breathers who left messages on my answering machine. I fixed it, no more answering machine.

My mom does this!!! She can get THEM so rattled they hang up, and never call back!

many years ago, me & dw had only been married for a couple of years [29th coming up next week], our phone rang at about 1AM.
A woman asked to speak with Ann. Since I am Phil and DW is Brenda I told the woman she had the wrong number. She apologized and hung up. Less then 5 minutes later the phone rang again, it was the same woman, she hung up again.
This went on every 5 minutes or so for the next 20 minutes.
Each time she called she became less and less polite insisting that I let her speak with Ann. She even said she was going to call the police since I obviously had Ann locked up somewhere and had taken over her house.
She fnally stopped calling afer I asked her for her phone number, in the days LONG before caller ID, and would call the police myself and report her for making harrassing phone calls.
