We were all up and ready to go by 7am. Kids really excited as we were going to MK. As the previous evening was EMH in MK I thought the park would be a bit quieter. I had a touring plan but was flexible with it especially with the children.
We had our breakfast in the intermission food court and also bought 2 refillable mugs which proved priceless over the 2 weeks. The only pain was transporting them home.
As we were going to MK we took the bus rather than drive. We arrived at the park by 8.30am got through security and watched the opening ceremony which the children really enjoyed. We headed up for our first ride which according to the plan was Space Mtn but I knew that the kids (or missus) wouldn't get on this ride so I thought that they would do the second ride on the plan - Buzz...but my youngest saw Stitchs Great Escape which he wanted to do first...so we did. After this we did Buzz x2, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Snow White, Its a Small World, Mickeys Philarmagic, Swiss Family Robinson tree and met some characters all by 11.30 and this was without running anywhere. It was amazing we managed to do all of this.
We then headed off for an early lunch at the Crystal Palace which was excellent. Getting an early lunch meant that we had extra time with the characters. The food was good and the kids could take stuff from the adults buffet if they wanted to.
We then did some more rides and watshed the parade which was brilliant. The CMs got all the children involved by playing games with them.
After the parade we went back for a rest via the supermarket. We had a mini fridge so we thought we would stock up on breakfast items. Just out of interest I went to the Publix at the junction of the 192 and International Drive South.
The kids then had a swim in the pool and then we returned for the evening to watch the fireworks.
After all that we were shattered so it was off to bed for as good nights sleep.
