Went solo to MK on Saturday... it was a great day! I rode Buzz Lightyear, and on my first ride of the day, I maxed out the gun on the right just after leaving the first room (scored 999,999)... then moved over to the other gun and got 331,000.

:bounce: YEAH!

*Jaw hits floor* Thats awesome! If only I could get HALF of that score!!! :) :jumping1: :bounce: Go you! I bet you'll have a time of it topping your own score though!!!!

I even had to take a picture before the score disappeared so my friends and family would believe me.

Last time I rode it (last week) I got the prize for the lowest score while actually trying... 1000 points. That was my second time around too. Talk about not being able to hit the broad side of a barn... ;)

Where in the world do you hit that one "maxes out everything" target I've heard about?

J;)

Here are some general tips...

  • Targets far away are worth more points.
  • Things that are moving are worth more points than things that are stationary
  • Things that are down low, at hard-to-reach angles are worth more.
  • When you pass the robot on your left (the Rock'em Sock'em type Robot), spin your car around and try to hit the Z on the *back* of the robot's left wrist -- that's 100,000 points.
  • The top of the volcano is worth 100,000 points and it will erupt when you hit it.
  • In the battery room, try to hit the batteries on the bottom. Fhey'll fall over when you do, and some are worth 50,000 points. Aim for the tiny batteries... the smaller they are, the more points.
  • After the robot, on your left there will be some creatures on the wall -- the spider is worth 50,000 points.
  • If you hit the moving wormlike creature that sways left to right that's on your right in the next room, it's worth at least 50,000 points.
  • If you hold the trigger of your laser down, you'll occasionally get 1,000 points even if you don't hit anything.
  • When you're going through the red spiral light room, hold your thumb down for a few extra points.
  • In the room with the animated rockets, follow the spaceships until they pause and aim for the Z on them -- if you look closely, you'll see a metal plate on the wall (there's one on each side) under the animation. Hitting those scores 100,000 points, too.

The highest score on a singe gun is 999,999.

But, if your ride alone, like me, after your hit 999,999, scoot over and use the other gun too. :earboy2:

Did you hit the yellow trapezoid on the ceiling in the first room? I discovered that one by accident and like a geek scored 999,999 in the first room too!!! :teeth:

(I've never played a single video game in my life except for Buzz.....)

I can certainly understand about needing a picture! After I hit the magic 999,999 I took one and have had years of pleasure harassing my less “gifted” friends with it periodically. If you want to send me a message, I’m happy to email you a copy.

Or, if a moderator wants to give me posting privileges, I’ll put it here!
