What a hilarious instalment! I've been looking for a "grand finale" for our vacation, and I may have just found it! The boys will have just celebrated their 8th birthday - we can't make it a "real, right on the actual day" celebration, but maybe we should try out the WCC and hope for Ricky. What better way to have a great time as a family than laughing our heads - and hats - off?!? I'll just have to leave my inhibitions behind!

It's all in the margaritas, right? Oh, and remembering to have a camera "malfuction" when needed.

How do you do it? Your latest installment made me LOL AND cry at the same time! Especially this part:

Then came dessert. Ricky came out with a brownie lava sundae looking thing, which looked yummy! Ricky looked like this.

And he said to Conor, “Hey little buddy, I hope you don’t mind that I took a little bite, out back there in the kitchen. It’s not bad for a free dessert!”

We sang happy birthday, accompanied by the entire dining room. The Coke drinkers at the next table were especially enthusiastic, probably owing to the caffeination.

I love the look on Conor's face! There is no need to ask if Conor had a good time. What a priceless photo.

This is a TR I never want to end. You are a brilliant writer.

Wow, I think I liked that instalment the best, sharing in young Conor's birthday festivities.

The waiter with the chocolate face is hysterical, no way my daughter would eat a dessert she thought had someone elses amoebas in it.

Thank you Mean-mama! This is the most clearest information I have seen in one place on Whispering Canyon - people can be so cryptic and non-forthcoming about it. Your crown was so lovely and appropriate, but that coffee filter bonnet....wow. That is creativity in food service! Thanks especially for the very telling photos. I can't believe Ricky put chocolate all over his mouth like that! Hilarious! The photos of your kids are just priceless. So adorable!

OK, so read the whole thing so far. Love, Love, Love it!!

It's so funny reading about your son and his love of cars. My son also can tell you the make, model, gas mileage, and just about everything else you ever didn't care to know about your vehicle. Also asks everyone he sees about their vehicle stats. I tell them blame his daddy.

By the way tell Conor, Zack says our van is a 2004 Pontiac Montana minivan with a v6 engine.

I just had to comment on Conner's Bday. What Fun!!! We went to WC last trip and we had a crazy waitress but I don't think anything could compare to your experience. I Love the hats. Your DH looks especially spiffy! I am really sad to see that you received a crown though. I did not get one and I am really very upset about it! I may have to write a letter.

Love that chocolate mouth on Ricky!

It looks like Conner had a b-day he may remember for a long while. What a little cutie! Your DDs look like they might have had a little fun too!
