I've been reading your trip reports the past few days...They are really, really good!!! Your wedding was amazing!!

I do have a quick question...Did you have a planning journal here on the DIS for your wedding at Disney? My DH and I are thinking about a vow renewal there someday and I love reading the planning journals to get ideas.

So after splash we headed towards The Astro Orbiter. We had never been on that thing, and I don't think we will ever go back on lol. The way you get up there is horrid. You get stuck in an elevator filled with people lol. It's awful.


Getting into the ride is horrible lol! It's so hard to get into. LOL. You have to like step down into it. I felt like I was going to fall over lol.


The landing was crazy lol. The thing whizzes and the spinning feeling on it was not fun, not like the teacups lol.

We will never go on it again LOL.

I totally agree with you about Astro Orbiter! We went on because we thought the view would be amazing (and it was), but it was the most uncomfortable ride! Timm has long legs, and had a really hard time getting in. I wasn't sure he'd be able to get out again!

Dole whips look yummy as usual...I see this time Tim got the float too!
Great shot inside the HM...don't forget that I told you to hang out in there for awhile next time so you can hear the voice tell you to "get out!"
Love SM...such a fun, long, ride....I love riding with new people and we pretend that every drop is "the drop!"
Nice hidden Mickey on Tim! And I do like the girls Figment backpack! Back a long, long, long, time ago in the 80's I Figment! He is still a cutie!

Great update, as usual, Lynn! Yay for a great day!! This sounded like such a fun, relaxing ,being a kid kind of day, I loved reading about it!! From finish to end. I'm with you with those Astro Orbitor ride...we did that on our honeymoon, never again!!! The elevator ride up was enough for me!! Although, you did get some great pictures, love the angles you took from there!! How nice of the CM to give you guys free lemonades, that was very sweet of him!! Too funny about Tim's bum on Splash....an abstract hiddne Mickey for sure!!LOL!! I'm getting sad this report is coming to an end..not yet, not yet!!!!

Tim was soaked in the front, but look at his bum HAHA. He had a hidden mickey on his butt LMAO!!!

The "hidden mickey" + metallica t-shirt = Fantastic. It is on my list of reasons to love Splash Mountain. My favorite ride. ever.

I love Earl of Sandwich. One of our favorite CS restaurants. I love the tomato/basil/mozzerella sandwich.

Ok, I have to ask. How did the two of you manage to squeeze into one rocket on Astro Orbiter? During our September 2008 trip, we decided to give it a try. When we got up there, we couldn't get into one rocket! Poor DH had to stand on the platform and look at me ride. We went back a couple days later and asked for 1 rocket for each person so he got to try it too.

I liked the view up there enough that I will probably put up with the elevator and go on it again.

Yes they look goofy but if you go on their website they have some cute styles and your feet will feel sooooooooooo good!

Disneybridetoni--great idea about the crocs!!! I wore the flipflop style with the canvas thong part last summer and had zero problems with my feet

Yeah he was such a nice CM! We always get hooked up in the MK LOL! We got free water on our wedding day lol. Oh and in DHS they gave me a free chocolate covered marshmallow in the candy shop.
