I should start racing. I've been jogging a few times a week, mainly to keep my weight down. A race might give me motivation!

Hey, Lynn....you're going to have SO MUCH fun during Disney Marathon weekend. I did the full this year, and despite how miserably long the actual race was, it was so much fun! They have an 80s band playing in the warm-up area...at 3 a.m.! And lots of people dress up. I'll have to post the pics on Facebook...the best character shots I've ever gotten came during the race! Make sure you carry your point-n-shoot....they have characters out at each park and CMs with each set of characters to take pictures for you along the course. I carried mine in a runners hip-pack with all my energy gels. Worked out perfectly.

Do you have a subscription to Runner's World? I highly suggest it...they have some great workouts to mix things up when you get into the longer distances of your training. I'm always my most motivated the 3 or 4 days after I get my lastest issue!

Congratulations on the 5k. I just started running recently and I hope to get to the point in which I love it but right now not so much.Jeez do you take any bad pictures? I can't believe how great you look after a race. I guess Tim will be really busy trading pins on your vacation. THIRTEEN more days for us both.

Oh I know. I saw on the website that it is 90% full!! I don't think I can convince my fiance that we need to go back to WDW again though after going so many times this year. I would totally go if I could find a friend who'd drive down with me but maybe next year. My fiance HATES running and would never run a half marathon (or even a 5k!). I've never run a race or anything but I generally run 3-4 miles 2-3x a week so I think I could train for a race if I wanted to. The Disney half just sounds like sooo much fun! I am jealous of all of you who are planning to go

I will. Girl let me tell you how easy the process is. I did everything over the phone. Our guide's brother is a cop in our town and he knows my mom he gave me a ton of info before contacting our guide.

Our guide is Steven Fisher. He was awesome. I will never forget this. The day we checked into SSR we had a message from Steve on our phone saying "welcome home" and "enjoy your stay, if you have any questions contact me" and blah blah. It was so nice.

Pin Lanyards​

Tim and I worked on putting our pins onto our lanyards! We have way too many, it's insane.

Tim has two double lanyards, and I have 4 small lanyards. I'm not wearing all four, only one..going to wear different one each day.
