The May 2007 Rate/Code Watch

Memorial Day weekend, May 24-28 for us! SWW for DBF, AKL for DBIL and four glorious days of pure DISNEY for DSis and ME! Now we just wait for the codes......

Do you usually go during the holidays or summer season? I don't think I could stand all those people , I'm a little worried about going in the middle of may because I have only went in value season this will be the first "regular" season. I wouldn't be counting on a code for memorial Day weekend, I think May is unlikely as it is for codes let alone a busy holiday. Not trying to discourage you (or anyone else from going Memorial Day) but I would recomend backing it up a weekend. Sorry for my $0.02

Last year we went the day after Memorial Day for our trip and stayed for 8 days. The crowds weren't bad at all. Definitely standable! We also got a great AP discount for our hotel for the entire trip! Don't be discouraged May Disney Vacationers!

Mini Rant!


I am planning a May trip for my college graduation.
I first invited my bf, my best friend and her bf. (Other pals to be invited once we finailize plans.) (Staying at ASMu, MYW w/ hopper and DDP, 7 days)
Now her bf doesnt want to go!
He doesnt think it will be worth the money or that we will get bored and not have much to do or the DDP is to much $$ he wants to stay outside WDW, etc!

I just want to shake him!

My bf, best friend and I are still going, but its sad that he isn't budging because I want her happy.

OK, i'm done, sorry just needed a vent.

I'm going with my boyfriend from May 17-27 at Coronado Springs Resort! I can't wait to find out what the AP discounts will be! Last year we ended up saving a bundle!!!!

We saved $300 on our Moderate Hotel (Coronado Springs) for 7 nights, about $43 per night off of the regular price. We also got park hopping priveleges which worked out great considering we usually started in one park and ended in another. We also got a discount off of certain meals for lunch and on some merchandise. The best part about the AP is that we are going back this year admission free! Getting the AP last year for us was only about $50 or $60 more than the 8 day Magic Your Way Pass. This year we don't have to buy park admission and get all of the perks and benefits that come with the AP

Just got a quote from DU for $2815 for 8 nights at CSR with 8 day MYW +PH + Water Park and More tickets for four people, April 28 to May 06, 2007. Going to a local TA within the next couple of days to see what price I get from them. Never dealt with DU before. Hoping for May codes.

We are finally booked!!
May 27 - June 9 at the Wilderness Lodge, 10 day MYW + dining + park hopper + water parks for the low low price of 6,707 for 2 adults, 1 junior, and 1 infant.

We really need a code!!! We are considering just getting the AP's!!

Since everyone is sharing pricing information and dates - My family - me, wife and son (age 4) are planning to go on May 3 - May 8 at the CBR. I got AAA rate of $1846.00 includes dining and tickets. What did everyone else get?

DW and I are going April 29-May 11 (12 nights) Here's what we've got for $3457:
-AAA discount
-POFQ standard view (hoping for free upgrade )
-10 day MYW + PH + Waterparks
-DDP

I think that's it...I could be wrong though. The same price on the disney website is $3792.00.
