The math of the discount! Help!

I am completely stressed over the math of it all! I called today to get the kids stay and play added to our ressie. The CM said it saved us about $72. (We currently only have one day tickets, upgrading once we get there to 5 day.) The CM said when we upgrade my DD's tickets, they will be free. Ok, so, what about the dining? Shouldn't that bring the price down also?

We have 6 nights, POR, DDP, 3 adults, 3 kids, but 2 are infants. With 1 day park tickets for : $ 2,417 and the new discounted price is: $2,344.

I believe it is the kids stay and play for free - not dine for free.

The Disney Visa offer is kids stay, play and dine for free. This is different that the general public discount of kids stay and play for free - which does not give free dining.

Also I believe if you upgrade once on site you will have to pay for your daughters ticket. If you want it for free it has to be booked as part of the package and everyone in the room has to be on the same package.

I asked about the upgrading of the tickets, he assured me that I would definitely get them for free. I am still questioning this, and I am definitely going to call back. I don't want to pay for all the tickets in advance, as we have lots of friends in the Orlando area (we use to live there) who can get us in for free, and they are all going to be trying to do this. I am only buying the one day tickets so we can get the dining.

I also thought it was just stay and play for free, but he again told me it also included free dining....I am so confused!
