We were finally able to borrow the DVD from the library and watch this movie.

We found it VERY confusing. What is sci-fi drama? Was it a comedy? Was it a musical?

Things happened or appeared in the movie with no explanation.

The MCU needs to lay off of this whole multiverse idea. They're trying to be clever, rather than focusing on writing one, solid story.

Aside from the end credit scene, it didn't even involve the multiverse.

Yeah, but that didn't really impact the sotry of the movie. That could have theoretically been any "hole in space" trope. It's not like they had alternate versions of characters running around.
