What is "Disney Bounding"?

Dressing inspired by different disney characters. My daughter tells me it is all about inspiration, not costumes. Accessories are important, colors, too. She found whole websites dedicated to it. My family has recently acquired quite the assortment of hairbows, infinity scarves, and cute earrings.

I didn't get flash drive package but I did receive an envelope with a personalized booklet and magnet. I was hoping for the flash drive after seeing how cute it was. There was link included for the video online too.

Awe… I'm jealous! I want to get something!! A magnet would be fine with me! Why doesn't Disney want to send me anything? I guess they know I already know how to use this system and don't need it? lol

You have to invite and receive invites from everyone in the party on MDE. Make sure that the invites are marked "can schedule or make plans". I generally cheat, and have everyone send me the invite where I can make plans, but the invite I send them they can't. That way I can schedule their activities, but they can't change mine. It works well for children' although spouses it might be considered a bit controlling. :-D

Ahh… I am linked to my BFF's account (I invited her to mine) and I figured that I had the same access as she did- but I'm assuming now, I don't!? Weird!! Is there anyway to make it reciprocal?

Same thing I got.............but I did get another envelope today with a little booklet that told me I could start making my FP+ reservations on Monday!

BOO!! nah… I'm kidding. Happy for you!

So excited to be checking in at POR March 29 - April 5. Anyone else heard about the disney bounding phenomenon? My kids are set that they are doing it, so the search is on for accessories, as it is all about the accessories!

We haven't gotten anything in the mail.. Wonder if I should check in with the TA. POR is our fav as well. We went last year during the holidays and stayed at POP, but the whole time we just missed POR. We went for the royal room for our two princesses... I believe the 18 year old is more excited than the 10 year old! Can't wait to be where there isn't 4 feet of snow!

I haven't gotten anything yet- it's apparently kind of like russian roulette as to who gets the fun stuff or not! My best friend is going with us and she got one, but I didn't!

I believe the Magic Bands/Thumbdrive (if you get that?) come straight to you, but I'd assume the rest of the mickey mail will go to the TA?? With all the changes, I can't keep up anymore!

Although, maybe that's the trick? If you got the thumbdrive are you using a TA or are you booked directly with Disney? Maybe that's the reason I haven't gotten one?

I received a flash drive and booked without a TA...maybe you're on to something?!? I'm assuming I'll get to make FP+ selections next week just based on what I've read on the fabulous DIS boards but I have not received any communication about that. Glad we've got each other.

Hmmm I'll have to email my TA and see what she says. When I customized our MB (colors/names) it indicated they would ship directly to me but not sure on anything else. Not sure if we really need anything besides the MB since I have everything linked to my My Disney Experience app on my phone. Well I guess we need luggage tags for magic express.....very different from my last trip to DW!

We booked a room only through Disney and received a flash drive for our March trip even though we were just at the WL in December. We also received the new welcome booklet with the magnet but without a flash drive for our October trip.

I'm a bit confused about what will be available for us as guests when we go in March. I understand they are still testing FP+ but not sure if there will be paper fps available. Does anyone have any insight?

I think they are slowly phasing out paper Fast Passes. I am not counting on them for my trip 2/28/14 - 3/7/14.

And I DID NOT get a thumb drive and I used a TA if that helps the research, lol.

Two months from today I will be leaving for Disney! Can't wait! I found a message the other day from a friend that said "only 236 more days". One one hand it seems like I have been waiting forever and then in another way, it has gone pretty quickly.

We got our Flash drive, the video on it wasn't terribly useful, but the flash drive itself is cool! Actually we ended up getting 3... We are doing a split stay so got one for each, and we canceled and rebooked one of the hotels around the time they sent it, so we got an "extra" from the ressie we canceled.

Hope these next couple of months fly by!!

We got the flash drive - I haven't watched it, but DH did. Basically he go from it that I shouldn't worry about FP + bc the video said regular FP will still be an option (I'm not counting on that) - anyone else notice it saying that? Which brings me to my question - I am close to the date to make my FP+ Reservations and I am clueless. Anyone care to share your strategy? All the threads on it are so overwhelming, not sure what I should plan a fastpass for or when to schedule it. Or even how to do it - I guess through MDE?

Wouldn't you know it? All this complaining on my part about not getting anything and TODAY in the mail was the small package with the magnet and some personalized info about our trip! Mickey didn't forget about me in his pointless marketing campaign!

If you can request a card with a magnetic strip then you can still get old FP's, however, I think all the old type of FP machines have been pulled from Animal Kingdom? SEriously, at this point, we are all at the mercy of whatever the powers that be decide for our trip- sounds like things are changing pretty quickly and without much notice.
