The March 2014 Thread!!!!

I know but hot weather lol and I have good dining reservations for March!! I will let this thread know when and if I cancel. So someone may be able to get the reservations.

I know how that goes! We avoid the summer, but with my ODD in school now, we're locked in on the school breaks. My husband teaches at a university, so we have more flexibility with his schedule, but not her's.

I tell ya Norma, I am trying to keep up with all the reports on various threads but some of those threads are getting really nasty. I don't like it when people say that other people are stupid, etc. I just don't need that negativity, you know?

But, to answer your question, it seems to be if you have an AP card (ticket, whatever) you can pull them. Some have been able to use older cards and tickets from UCT, but it all sounds like a crap shoot to me. I'll be bringing my old cards (benefits of being a scrapbooker -- I save everything!) but I really don't expect them to work. If they do, Bonus!

We are currently at the WL. We were given KTTW cards at check in. We have been using our MB's to get into the parks. When I tried to pull a paper fp using the KTTW, it didn't work. The slip of paper that came out of the fp machine said that the card wasn't valid for fp because it wasn't used for park entry.

I believe that if you are staying at a Value you will NOT be given a KTTC with a magnetic strip on the back anymore. you will be given a card if you request it, however, it will NOT work in the old FP style machines without the black magnetic strip on the back. They have been doing this at Pop for a while, and I think they just started at the All Stars Resorts. I'd assume (but you know what that means…) that Art of Animation would be next, but we'll have to wait and see!

I hate to even go to that part of the forum. Every post is Fp+ this or FP+ that. Just too much clutter and negativity. I will check when it comes to book our FP+ and then again before we leave.

I don't think the Louisiana folks impact the crowds much. We have been before for Mardi Gras when it fell in February and it was pleasant. I love to go then or early March because Spring Break begins the day we check out! I have heard that crowds tend to pick up then. Either way.. Enjoy! It is Disney with wonderful Florida weather! While we are freezing at 39, Florida is enjoying the 890's!
