Hi! We are going to be staying at AKL in August. My daughter has ARFID and a very limited diet. I usually grab a bagel from the resort quick service for her when we get dinner/lunch, but I don't see bagels on the mobile order. I've stayed at many resorts and never encountered this before. Does anyone know if this resort doesn't have bagels in the bakery case all day? Also if anyone has been recently, do they have the yogurt parfaits? I've gotten them at Poly and SS, but I don't see them listed.

I don't think they list most of the grab and go items on the mobile order menus. You would have to go in and purchase them. I saw parfaits when I stopped in to check out the Mara back in September. Those are pretty standard grab and go items that all resort QS spots have.

The resort shops usually sells bagels and you can toast them in The Mara if needed.

We eat at the Mara whenever we stay at AKL; as a poster above mentioned, the online menus aren’t comprehensive. Mara has a pastry display with various types of goodies. I love to get a croissant with my breakfast, but I don’t usually get a bagel, so not positive; they had a pretty good selection, though, so I’m going to guess yes.

They should have bagels but as above Jambo is part DVC and the resort store will have bags of Thomas Bagels. While I have never seen them run out Kidani will also carry them. There may be other items in the refrigerator section in the store she can eat as well at the store. Jambo has a decent size basic food section in the back of the store. All of the DVC or better all Deluxe resorts have a similar selection including POLY and SSR that you stayed at.

If bagels are something you plan to buy several of, I'd actually do a grocery order and have some delivered to the resort. It would end up being a lot cheaper in the long run.

Agreed to the above... you might consider a grocery delivery order. There are multiple options that are free/cheap. I've used Kroger in the past, and it went well. You pick your delivery hour (the delivery fee is easy to see by hour and not very expensive). The price you pay per food item is the same as the store cost.
