The Many Taste of Fatphil

Hmm.. time for some cookies. I got these from a friend who's a cyclist and he makes them into six huge cookies that are around 400 calories each. And still healthy...

Majically Delicious Oatmeal Cookies
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 cups ground oatmeal
- 2 cups whole oatmeal
- 2 cups Lucky Charm Cereal
- 6 scoops ON Cookies & Cream Casein [this is a protein powder]
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tsp. baking powder

Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup eggbeaters or 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 cup applesauce
- add milk until cookie consistency

- Combine all ingredients except for the milk.. Then add in the milk to get the cookie batter type consistency.
- Bake at 350 degrees until the cookies have risen. I forgot to time it, lol.
- Chow down

Seriously, those sound delish! I am so going to have to make these. I love oatmeal cookies and I love marshmallows! Do you need the protein powder though?

I'm not sure.. I can ask him, but I'm guessing yes as I've had them before and it gives it a distinct flavor. Protein powder can be found cheap, though and it's great for cooking and consuming after a workout [specifically resistance/weight training]. Mine is $35 for five pounds, which usually last me about three/four months. And I'm using the kind that was rated #1 by Bodybuilding.com, so that right there tells you that there are cheaper brands out there.

Okay. I could probablly use more protein in me anyway hahah.

1.8g of protein per kg of body weight is the recommendation for athletes. Divide your weight in pounds by 2.2 to find your weight in kilograms. Then multiply that by 1.8 to find how much protein you should be consuming per day.

Example:
I weight 154 pounds

154/2.2 = 70kg
70x1.8 = 126g protein per day

lol, and there are some bodybuilders who think they need 300g of protein per day. I laugh while they force themselves to eat chicken and I sit back and enjoy my lucky charms.
