I’ve been gone from the dis for a couple of years now (other than a little peek now and then) I worked hard to break my addiction to the boards.

I am planning a trip for next year so I've been around a little bit, nothing hard core just checking a few things here and there. I’ve been able to keep my distance so far.

Tonight I came in for a quick look-see...maybe read a little trippie...just to pass the time popcorn:: and of all the trip reports to pick, I had to pick this one. :headache: I'm hooked, I can't quit reading. I'm only up to page 16 but had to let you know that you've ruined me...

I have a day off of school tomorrow and planned on catching up on the laundry, doing some grocery shopping, giving the dog a bath, taking down the Christmas tree...but nooooo...I'll be reading this @#$%^ trip report! My husband will have to keep wearing his dirty skivvies, the kids will have to eat cream cheese and ketchup for dinner as that's all that's left in the fridge, I'll have to put the dog on the porch because he smells so bad and we'll be hiding Easter eggs under the Christmas tree...

because now that I've committed to reading a 216 page trip report and posting to it it’s all over...I’ll be dis-addicted again by the time it’s over but I can’t help myself…crap:sad2:

Thanks alot

If you don't want to read all the Off Topic conversations, go to the first page and just click on the links with the ACTUAL WDW Trip Report. Otherwise welcome back to the DIS after your haitus.

What a scary feeling. I of course have never lost a kid but I remember being lost. I wandered away from my mom in the grocery store once and then couldn't find her. I remember how scary that was. Luckily she found me quickly but I was still really upset, I definitely learned my lesson.

Welcome to my world Mckeefamily! :sad2: :lmao:

Well, I'm back from vacation, and only had to catch up 26 pages... when I should be sleeping, or cleaning.

You did manage to stay on-topic almost the whole way too guys. Gud job!

Oopsie Double Post.... What the heck is up with the DIS?

That just took about 5 minutes too load!! :headache: my last post,,,beck posted between them,, 3x! :-)

Sheesh I miss alot when i go to work! It`s been dead around here and i come home to an update.:worship: and 5 pages worth of chat!
We`ve all "lost" our kids before. I have the comfort in knowing that if someone takes one of mine they will bring him back immediatly saying somthing like "I didnt know what I was getting myself into YOU keep him!" :rotfl2: (notice I said him and not her,,,)
What was funny was LA asking you in front of everybody if you had to poop too!

"Can't sleep - clown will eat me."

Anyone? :confused3
Is this the clown you were talking about?!!! :lmao:

I could imagine nothing worse than being grilled by Nancy Grace.....oh wait, I can.....Being grilled by Nancy Grace and I'm naked.....Oh wait, worse....Being grilled by Nancy Grace and she's naked.....

The effort it takes to get to the Magic Kingdom from the parking lot makes staying onsite worth it.
Your not right J! :rolleyes2 But when you do get out of seminary I think I want to be one of the first one at your services! :lmao:

How scary!
I was about to barge into the bathroom and start screaming her name when she nonchalantly sauntered out, and in the correct direction of our table.
Did you ever tell Linnie or is she just finding out about it now?

then walk 100 yards to our car parked at the VERY far end of the row. :sad2:
You can't catch a break either huh?? We had to keep checking the front of the truck to see if someone put a sign on it that says "please park us as far away from the tram as you possibly can".

Topiary at the TTC. Not sure what kind of face MB is making?
This looks like the Oops, that one smelled look. I know, I get it all the time!

Very nice cloud!!

IYou know, I have to interrupt this because whenever any parent loses their kids and they say, "It was only a few seconds." Well, it really is-those kids can be fast.
I remember the days before kids and thought that parents really weren't watching their kids if they got lost. Now I can totally understand and sympathize. Last winter Brookie was at a point where I REFUSED to take her to the mall alone because she would run away all the time. And she would hide in the clothes. She never got far thank God but I did have Rob or my mom with me at all times to help.

One time I lost her at the house-she fell asleep in her playhouse and I couldn't find her. That was scary too.
OMG! I forgot about "losing" Brookie at home once. This was just about a month ago. I went into the bathroom. I was only gone a second   . I came out and went into our living room. No Brookie. I called her name out. No answer. I checked up in her room, the boys' room, my room. No Brookie. I'm starting to panic. I look at all the doors, still locked. Then, I remembered that she had just mastered the "hide-n-seek" game by keeping quiet. I went into the kitchen and opened some cupboards and there she was with a big grin on her face. princess:

DM-I love your picture!!
That was so much fun to do and Rob was so pleased with himself! :rolleyes1

great update buzz, glad to see and hear you did not loose LG, but i was guessing that the family had ditched you.

:woohoo:

Hey Buzz, great update! Thank goodness you were just quicker than she was this time.

We have 2 boys that seem to have to use every bathroom they can. :confused3

If there is a restroom, they will find it! :thumbsup2
