OH Heidi we missed you!!

The links on page one....brilliant!! :thumbsup2

What a relief to realize that although I missed a hundred pages, there were actually only three chapters that I needed to catch up on. Whew!

Ready and waiting for the next one....hmmm, perhaps another twenty pages or so should do it! ;)

Edited to say, "Happy Birthday!" (belated)
Edited to say that I definitely remember Coin! Cartoon Network Rocks!

When I think of Mummies, I think of Scooby Doo and the Mummy too!

Remember?

"Coin.. Coin"

That's what the mummy was always saying. :rotfl2:

Yeah! I remember that! I always loved Scooby-doo. Only the old classic ones, mind you... that show SO went south when that gods-forsaken puppy joined the mix.

"I'd have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

I'm back! But reading through all my missed pages has sucked up my time. I'll be back later to comment on your update!

BTW ~ Do you like my new avatar? :cool1:

~The Man Report ~ ~ Hammering Zurgs & Duct Taped Lasers ~
Another interesting title. But I expect that from you now.

One of the issues I have with this attraction is the laser sighting technology. I simply cannot distinguish my laser “dot” from anyone else’s and therefore am not sure if I’m actually hitting what I’m aiming at.
I have absolutely no idea what I am shooting at. Therefore, I dub myself "El Sucko" at Buzz LY.

Here’s the plan for next year. :smoking: I will bring two laser presentation pointers with me that shoot a bright blue laser dot. I will duct tape them to either side of my blaster gun. When Aiming, I will have the two large blue dots on either side of my regular laser and will therefore be able to shoot with pinpoint accuracy. This plan is foolproof. ::yes::
Hooboy. I am going to hold you to this one!

We exit the Buzz facility, take a left, and head straight over to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café. Where they got the name is anybody’s guess, but they’ve got two things my family craves…

1. Meat! …and lot’s of it! Bring on the pork ribs and rotisserie chicken & hold the green beans!!!
Would you like to borrow my pics of the meat, glorious meat?

IMGP2432.jpg

Too fat to squeeze in between the bars with Zurg, I just stick a shoulder in.
At least you found it!

IMGP2435.jpg

My expert photography of the castle.
Since when do you take scenic pictures? :confused3

Are the e-mails gonna come back? This is driving me crazy :upsidedow.
We need another update before you go to DLR!
popcorn::

I can totally kick Buzz's butt at Guitar Hero and that's enough for me. Right now anyway.
My brother just got Guitar Hero and now I want it. I couldn't believe how much I loved this!!!! We have $70 in Toys R Us gift cards and we went there to buy it but they didn't have any left for PS2.

Buzz ~ Do you really listen to Metallica, I mean a lot? Rob likes them. I just like a couple of songs. Hmm ... wonder if they've ever been to Disney World. just keeping it on topic. ;)

Eh hum...there is a new title and no new update provided. You've now confused me for the day.

By the way, I love the picture of MB being subjected to tickle torture. He looks like he's in absolute heaven. Also, the last Christmas picture posted (by, I believe, Disneyolic) is absolutely hilarious! :lmao: Thanks!

Hey! I'm waiting for an update! I'm expecting an update. No changing title names when there's no update. That's in da official rulz!

~The Man Report ~ ~ Lost Children & the Nancy Grace Inquisition ~

Any Disney guide will at some point talk about “Lost Children”. If they don’t, then you’ve mistakenly purchased a Universal guide. :rotfl2:

The thing to remember about lost children is to remain calm and find the nearest CM who will sound the alert. One the Alert is given, the entire park will be locked down like a Bolivian penitentiary until the missing youth is found.

There are a lot of little tricks you can use when you have young kids (or handicapped children). The best one is to put your cell phone number on a piece of tape and stick it to the shirt under their left arm.

Now, If only we’d remember to do this. :sad2:

After finishing our delicious meal of ribs, chicken, and then more ribs, it was time use the bathroom facilities.

LtP, never needing the “can” this trip due to the constipation one suffers from eating nothing but meat, passes so it’s just LG & I who depart in quest of toilets.

This is basically the routine now. Meat diet coupled with carb fest equals zero constipation. ::yes::

LG just likes going to the bathroom. :confused3

I’m almost always faster than she is. When I sense I’m in for “long one”, I’ll make her stay with LtP. We arrived at the bathrooms and went our separate directions. Once done, I walked outside, leaned against a wall and waited.

And waited… :rolleyes1

…and waited… :confused3

…and waited… :worried:

I started getting very nervous as I noticed when you leave the Starlight Café’s bathroom you can exit to either direction (towards the castle or towards Space Mountain). Our table was towards SM. What if she finished quicker than usual and made the wrong choice?

I started to panic a little. I darted back and forth to either direction to see if I could spot her wandering the restaurant or back at our table with mom and MB.

Nothing! She was nowhere to be seen!

My heart started beating as if pounding its way out of my chest. Visions of lost children, park closure, Headline News & Nancy Grace grilling me on a slow news day immediately filled my head.

The perspiration on my brow increased at a steady rate as I frantically searched around the restaurant all the while keeping one eye on the women’s room door, and the other on my very suspicious & protective wife. So far, she suspected nothing.

I was about to barge into the bathroom and start screaming her name when she nonchalantly sauntered out, and in the correct direction of our table.

Luckily, she didn’t notice me among the throng so a crept behind her to make sure she made it to our table then I went back to the men’s room to compose myself. :scared:

A couple minutes later, my heart was back to normal. The perspiration had subsided to an almost normal level, and I managed to quit shaking & panting.

I calmly walked back to our table where LG queried, “Dad, did you have to poop too”?

Uh, sure… that’s what I was doing. :rolleyes1

With the Lost Child Emergency abated & still suffering a little Post Traumatic Stress, “Time to go troops”, was all I could croak.

We made the slow, painful journey back to our automobile located in the vast wasteland of the Magic Kingdom parking area. You know the drill… monorail, TTC, People-Mover Tram, then walk 100 yards to our car parked at the VERY far end of the row. :sad2:

All in all, it took roughly 40 minutes from the Starlight Café to the Toyota Highlander. That’s WAY too long! Oh well, the walking helped my recovery period. Hopefully my heart hadn't suffered too much damage.

We only stopped once to take a single photo of the Mickey Topiary at the TTC.

Safe in our Highlander, we fired up the air conditioner to HIGH and drove the 20 minutes to our off-site hotel. Only three more nights and we could move into our Disney resort. I could hardly wait!

The kids were in the mood to swim then hang around the hotel room and “veg”. By “veg”, I mean watch “Stacy” for another couple hours. :sad2:

After that, it was time to clean up and change for dinner at the Portobello Yacht Club. One of our favorite restaurants. I could hardly wait!

Next Up: Terrified by Clowns

~The Man Report ~ ~ Lost Children & the Nancy Grace Inquisition ~
Uhm ... Nancy Grace Inquisition? I don't get it. :confused3

LG just likes going to the bathroom. :confused3
So does Brookie! She wanted to go into both the men's and women's bathrooms last night out to dinner. We knew she didn't have to go again so we had to keep telling her no about a zillion times.

Once done, I walked outside, leaned against a wall and waited.

And waited… :rolleyes1

…and waited… :confused3

While we never lost any of the kids I know this feeling. When Evan was 2, we were at Babies R Us looking at new strollers. I turned my head for a minute, turned around and didn't see him. The feeling in my chest was terrible!!! He had just crawled behind one of the strollers. This all took place in about 10 seconds but I still remember that feeling!

I calmly walked back to our table where LG queried, “Dad, did you have to poop too”?

Uh, sure… that’s what I was doing. :rolleyes1

Never been there so I'm hoping for a good review!
