Due to my occasional bout with tourettes, sometimes I just randomly bellow out the names of disavowed Catholic Cardinals. I dunno, it's strange. :confused3

Considering I am Catholic and I can't name any Cardinals then yeah that is strange. I am sure I could get quite an education when you have one those bouts.

Mel Gibson & Cardinal de' Medici are the first two to come to mind... :rolleyes1

Ma'am, I know that the TTA is never closed, but we had to fumigate the ride. See the man behind us? Smell the stench eminating from him? Yup, that's right. I know he seems to think they're clean...No... he can't smell it...but 10 passed out guests on the ride seem to think otherwise.
:lmao: That almost resulted in my laptop being covered in mountain dew!:thumbsup2

Hey! It doesn't even reference my "stretchy shorts" which would imply that Buzz just stinks! :headache:

Doh....my bad. But in my defense I did say "they're" and unless you've become plural, you could imply that I am refering to the shorts.......

I must admit, it was fun coming up with a new caption for that pic.

Who remembers the SMS?

Not me :confused3

There were no surly CM’s to keep you in line and “walk” you to the ride entrance. It was mayhem, and Buzz liked it. ::yes::

Hooboy :sad2:

I remember LtP’s first trip, running behind me all jiggly & out of breath, trying to keep up without blackening both eyes.

HooHooHooBoy!!!!!!

I can't believe you posted that!

Wait a minute...it's Buzz we're talkin' bout - course I can

She was intent on keeping up with Buzz for some roller coaster she’d only heard of.

Linnie is a saint - she really is.

This thing scares me. :scared: For years I’ve sworn to never take my children on this beast for fear we’d draw the short straw and Space Mountain would finally derail after years of perfect service.

Wimp. :cool2:

His first trip on SM was back in March of 07. He loved it, and we rode it four times.

Must take after his mother :rolleyes1

A few years ago, we rode the TTA and got a shocking surprise. As we went through Space Mountain, the entire ride was shut down and the lights were on! Once you see Space Mountain with the lights on, it’s very difficult to ever ride this attraction again (refer to my fear of SM earlier in this post).

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks for the update Buzz! :thumbsup2

I remember on opening day of Space Mountain in Disneyland (back in the day) I was in a line that began OUTside of Tomorrowland :rolleyes1 There was news crews and everything...course I was just a fetus at the time.

We've always sprinted to Space Mountain at rope drop. It's tradition. Till I had kids...then it's like herding cats.

And, my impression of Space Mountain with the lights on is it is FILTHY!

Them are some suh-weet stretchy shorts, Buzz. Very comfy and practical.

Oh yeah, sweet, practical, comfy, and probably smelt to high heaven. Sorry, I know how badly one sweats in Florida. And what with the carb-fest and resulting gas, I'm fairly certain they were not exactly fresh as a daisy. :rolleyes1

Whatever gets you on the rides faster, I always say.

Great update Buzz:thumbsup2
But once LTP reads it, there's gonna be heck to pay! :rotfl2:
I'm still scared to let Nova try SM. Overprotective mamma. :lovestruc

Who remembers the SMS?

The SMS was the acronym used for the “Space Mountain Sprint”. For those used to a little tamer “action” in the world, it could also stand for the “Splash Mountain Sprint”.
I remember this. We never really did this except for Test Track. That was a great story. I'll have to tell it separately sometime.

I remember LtP’s first trip, running behind me all jiggly & out of breath, trying to keep up without blackening both eyes.
OMG. I did not get this at first but this morning I reread it and giggled pretty hard. The mental picture is hysterical.

Just knowing how old this dilapidated hunk of scrap metal is and the fact that at any moment our rocket-car will not make the turn and send us off into oblivion is enough to get the adrenalin flowing and the high pitched screams squealed through clenched teeth.
Tell me about it! I still love it. But I love Dineyland's better!

Not to be outdone, little sister decided she too wanted to ride the Wham Wham Wham. I looked at LtP, she looked at me, then shrugged her shoulders and we were off like a shot to attempt fate and beat the monster.
I love when you can ride the fast rides with your whole family. I'm still waiting on that but I so look forward to it.

The next item on my agenda for the day was a relaxing roll on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA for you nOObs). I just love this wimpy little ride. I like the computer generated baritone voice of the announcer; “Now Entering Space Mountain”! :darth:
My favourite breastfeeding ride! :upsidedow :upsidedow

It’s also a great opportunity to catch some photos of the park and the castle… if you’re quick enough.
Baby I'm quick.

Off to BLSRS!!
Took me a minute to figure this one out.

Let’s ride Space Mountain a second time. Is that “okay” with you Trey?
Cool!

Here we go! Hold on tight! I hope this sucker doesn’t derail! :scared:
I like this shot!

On day 2, the stretchy shorts still appear to be clean. TTA is closed!!
Appears is the key word. And you've come a long way in the glasses department ... ;)
