YAY...it pays to stay up a little late.....now I have to go back and read the latest episode. :yay:

Linnie, glad to hear that you're home and are doing ok!

OMG....just caught the "BBQ chicken fetus" title. Ohhhhhh this is gonna be a good one.

One last thing...could the DIS be any slower tonight? What the hey?

Morocco does, however, have a wonderful commode facility which we put to good use. ::yes:: Wide open, spacious… remarkable.

I know all the good places at WDW to park my butt.:thumbsup2 Now if they could just have magazines and/or newspapers in each stall, I'd be a happy man.

Out of your whole update, this is what stood out to me....I'm sick.

Long live the Costanza's!

Ahhh… finally. After many months and almost a year, I’m back in my beloved World Showcase for the Food & Wine Festival.
I love the F&W. I really missed it when we went in June.

Moan Boy is powering through a salty soft pretzel (from Germany).
Lucky kid gets salt ... Rob got me the naked one.

Epcot is usually our first choice when it comes to choosing theme parks. We love it.
:yes

Epcot is wide open so when it’s busy, it’s not busy. They’ve got all kids of great food and beverages, a few good attractions, and live entertainment.
Even in June!

“Dad, we’re not doing anything. We’re just standing around”.
You're lucky you got that much!

As we leave the Japanese Pavilion in our clockwise pursuit of wine kiosks, I ask myself; how on Earth did Morocco ever make it to the World Showcase?
I'm sure it's for the belly dancers ... just ask any guy with a glass of wine who doesn't stumble past ...

Why not Libya? Why not Cameroon?

Have you ever pondered this?
I can honestly say .... NO.

Also on the menu at the Moroccan Wine Kiosk: Pistachio Baklava… what the frig is that? Avoid at all costs never knowing when someone is going to slip you the dreaded BBQ’d chicken fetus (I watch way too much Survivor, I know) .
Yuck to baklava. Yum to jasmine rice with lamb.

A couple years back, we ate lunch at Morocco. The best part of the meal was the lovely belly dancers.
See? Told you!

I have no idea what I actually ate. Clakshin would have been a better choice.
Even Dakshin.

All in all… it’s just going to be a nice “wander” through the World Showcase and see what happens. It’s day 1 in the theme parks and it’s off to a great start.
Yippee ... you finally started your TR!

Who needs to stand in character lines?

Great comebacks Dawn! Especially after all those glasses of wine last night! :lmao: and from looking at your last posted pic of you they were very enjoyable! :thumbsup2

Buzz .... Linnie ....

Wakey Wakey ... Day is Breaky ...

Come on people. I'm up and ready!

I mean I took a shower and am dressed, that's it, so no pics.

Patiently awaiting for your replies ...

I do have to say, that Buzz's installment was very accurate this time. ;)

He did forget to mention, however, that after we rode Test Track, Nemo and a few others, we were killing time waiting for our FP's to be good for Soarin' so we strolled passed Mouse Gears. DD saw the sprinklers in the ground and asked if she could go jump in them so we said sure, why not.

She headed in and all of a sudden it was a torrential downpour! We took shelter under the nearest palm tree while the kids splashed around in the sprinklers and rain. I told Buzz I felt we should take shelter in Mouse Gears. It would 2 purposes:

1. Get us out of the rain. My dad had a saying when he thought someone was dumb, he'd say, "He ain't smart enough to come in out of the rain!" Or she, whichever it was at the time. I wanted to be smart enough to come in out of the rain.

2. I had some major powerful shopping urges coursing through my veins. My idea of heaven is 3 hours in a WDW store all by myself. What a perfect time to shop!

But Buzz felt, no, we were ok under the tree. Just when I thought it couldn't possibly rain any harder, it started to just pelt us with rain drops coming down in sheets. I said, "Forget it, I'm going in." I yelled for the kids and grudgingly, Buzz followed us in the store. We were absolutely soaked. It was worse than riding Kali.

So I looked around the store and gathered a few things, dropping $200 like that. :scared1: But it kept us out of the rain. And my urges were quelled for the moment. Sigh......

So no wonder you only took one picture there ...

Hey everyone.
Last nite, Nov. 2-who ever was posting on this thread-it was being used like a chat room. I did see someone suggested to go to room 3-which hopefully it meant "go to the chat room".

I get accused of having favorites, and leaving popular threads alone. The OP knows I don't play favorites, I yell and moderate him all the time.

So, could the thread not turn into a chat room at nite? Otherwise, I may have to use the little lock thread.

It only rained that one time. A HUGE black cloud!! :sad2:

By noon, it was clear skies and sunny. :sunny:

It was blue_river. She instigated the whole thing. We tried to get her to stop but she wouldn't listen... too much Canadian Whiskey apparently. :rolleyes1

Anyway, we all figured out how to use the Chat so it won't happen again. Hugs?

I take full credit for steering all the horrible rule breakers to the chat room!

Ha!! :headache: We've all seen the pix Dawn. Nobody's buying that line of bologna! :rotfl2:

Wait! it was your idea wasn't it?

LtP - That tree was a perfect spot and didn't cost us $200!!

That actually sounds good.

I debated that title.... didn't want to make anyone sick.

Looks like you all had fun whilst I was sleeping :rotfl2:

Epcot is usually our first choice when it comes to choosing theme parks. We love it.
Us too :goodvibes

I sit back, take a deep breath, and look skyward. There’s no breeze and only a few people wandering around. World Showcase isn’t that busy at 11:30 am on a Monday and it’s just so relaxing compared with all the other theme parks.
Sounds wonderful :cloud9:

“Dad, we’re not doing anything. We’re just standing around”.
WTH, did she not see you in your happy place? :rotfl2:

Have you ever pondered this?
Well a little, it is a weird choice

Yes ma'm. I'm new and I didn't know any better. Also- I'm so out of the loop...even DM can admit that, check the posts!

See, I guess I just don't understand why carrying on a conversation in a trip report is bad? It's just kinda like a group journal.

I didn't know it was against "rules" either. :(

It's cuz we were off topic. Like I said, I blame blue_river  It's all her fault!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

So if we just throw in Disney World in every post it's on topic???

LoL

But anyhow, I loved the last installment!

Sounds wonderful :cloud9:

Thanks Jo.

On a side note, I went to church tonight for the first time in like 4 years.

I feel spiritually healed.

I owe it all to Marrisa. :worship: Thanks for getting back to the straight and narrow.

Now it's time to get pickled and Ninja Post!!

Easy, easy... I'm j/k..........sort of....

A tree might not've cost us $200, but it wasn't nearly as much fun.

One of that last things I said to Buzz last night before I toddled off to bed was, "You are going to get in trouble for chatting like that in a TR thread." See, I was right. I always follow the rules, Buzz always breaks them.
