Just wondering about everyone's opinion of this show? Would it be appropriate for DD7 & DD8? TIA!

(We leave in 2 days!!!)

It would be appropriate but probably impossible. Wonders of Life has been closed almost continuiously for about a year. In all likelihood it will not be open at this time of year. It has all the signs of an attraction that used to be. Sorry!!

The Wonders of Life pavillion should be open through Feb 26th. This is a great show, and perfectly appropriate for 7 and 8 year olds. It's much more conceptual than graphic, and focuses much more on relationships than the mechanics of making a baby.

They do show a textbook like drawing of the male and female parts and a cartoonish drawing of the sperm and egg cells, but they never really explain intercourse--they instead show how a couple met, got to know each other, fell in love, got married, and decided to have a child. They show the couple kissing in bed together, fully clothed, and in a very loving way. They then explain that the act is private and move on to the couple getting the happy news that they're having a baby.

It's really a wonderful start to the "birds and the bees" talk--very positive and very focused on a loving family environment.

Just back on Monday and Wonders of Life pavillion was open. The Land pavillion is closed for construction, so I would expect to see Wonders of Life open more than normal.

Sorry for the misinformation...I was not aware the WoL was open at all. My mistake!
