Check out TJ Maxx and Marshall's. They had tons of Chi Hair products and they also had a mini mini babyliss flat iron. It is about 6 inches long and about 3/4 in wide to fit in a draw or a purse. It is great for bangs and touchups, the cost was 24 99. Always check out M and TJ you never know what they will have.

Also, I 'seasoned" my flat iron with a thin coat of Morrocan oil and it really works much better on my hair. I had never thought about this but if I put a little oil on the iron it hits all the hair as opposed to putting it on my hair which makes it a hit or miss as to whether I get the whole shaft.

I consider hair as a part of make up.

What would you call it?

Mission: Face?

Lipstick Jungle Cruise?

It's a Small Pore After All?

Mickey's Philharmonistat?

MascaraQuest?

Blush Mountain?

:goodvibes

So I got a bzzzz for some Max factor lip stuff and mascara. I've never used max factor b/c I haven't seen a lot of places around here that sells it. I'm not buzzing, just discussing..lol. Can't wait to try it. I wanted to try a long lasting lipgloss that doesn't look pornish.

How about...

Honey I Skunk Brushed my cheeks!

Sephorin

FantasMAC!

The Great Make Up Ride

Too Faced Mountain

Tomorrowland Tranny Authority (for the guys)

Killimanjaro Sephora

And that great Walt Disney classic, The Carousel of Polish

They do not carry smashbox but all the lines made by Estee Lauder i.e. Mac, Bobbi Brown, Clinque, Estee and one or two more that elude me at this time. Crabtree and Evelyn are similar to Bath and Body but have a much less extensive line and their items are marketed to a more mature woman while I think B and B tries for a universal appeal but it is targeted to the 12 to 25 group IMHO>

I agree with your description of Crabtree and Evelyn. My MIL likes it - I go in only to look for things for her. I sneeze a LOT in that store, too.

I told you that it hurt and hurt badly. Someone on here tried it and said it was not that bad but I do not remember who it was. They must have a very high pain threshold. I am assuming you are talking about the Too Faced lip plumper that came with the Plastic set. I mean you could just take a base ball bat and smack yourself in the mouth and get the same effect with probably a little less pain.

So I am now loving my little flat iron and feeling the urge to get one to keep in my desk at work. I am trying to resist but it is so cute and so good. I can just flat iron my ends if that is all that is necessaary.

I have to say ....I am really resisting the urge to go buy make up. I HOPE beatycrunch does not have any good additions. Hey if Stila goes belly up what will happen to beauty crunch. Will they die too? Aren't they related to Stila?

I bought a mini CHI - I have no idea why, but I own one, so you should, too.

Like I said - all the traveling youre doing. :rolleyes1

This would be the reason to NOT buy one: continually flat ironing hair is damaging. You dont want to get into a habit of doing this, so NO MINI CHI.

I'm not much help, am I?

Im thinking if Stila goes down, beautycrunch could be rocking for awhile, there.

:lmao: That might have been me. It hurt the first time I used it, but the next time I tried it, it wasn't so bad. Or maybe my lips were numb from the margaritas I'd just had, I don't know. :rotfl:

It had to be the drinks because I did try it one more time thinking I was a baby and I confirmed I was not being a baby.

I do not use it all that much. I only flat iron when I wash it but I do not like to do the whole hair shaft if I do not need to and with this one if I have ends that are not in line when I wake up I can just do the tiny end part.

Is Stila closing? I went to there wesite today and there was nothing there. LOL
I did check out sephora and the other links from the first post though.

I hope not. I LOVE their eyeliner. I'll have to stock up if this is true before it's too late.

I have a question. I want to get a really good lip plumper. I don't care if it burns. I just want any recommendations of which ones are worth the money and do actually plump????

Thanks!

so, been using the Monistat for a week (found it at Super Walmart) and HOLY CARP - why would anyone waste this on their inner thighs??? This rocks!

Well - TOO FACED's feels like you got popped in the mouth with a baseball bat, apparently.... and I would imagine getting smacked like that, you'd have mega lips. I'd give that a shot.

Does anyone like any of these colors:

http://www.beautycrunch.com/product_detail.asp?PMID=248&category_id=51&pos=1&viewall=yes

Cuz I dont like them. And I'll send them to you. Theyre too frosty - all of them. I have a pink, a peach and a bronze. I like gloss to look like I just ate a greasy pork chop - with color. ;)

Did I tell you guys how much a I REEEEEALLLY love the POP Blush Cakes? They are nice!!! NICE NICE NICE!!! And Ive even dipped into them using a few of the bar's of color, as eyeshadow...

Theyre superb. http://www.beautycrunch.com/category.asp?category_id=57&viewall=yes

And cheap (on beautycrunch.com!)

AND REMEMBER - if you guys want me to link ANYTHING on post #1 - tell me, and I can add it.

So, I really want to try this Monistat stuff!! Do you guys think it can also be used in place of an eyeshadow primer?
