OMG!
halo is incredible!!

love this thread...feel like i'm home :goodvibes

Yay! :welcome:

Disney and Makeup is TOTALLY home, to me, too!

They absolutely need a makeup store at Disney. I would be in heaven! :cloud9:

Imagine the possibilities - if they REALLY went for it, and not catered to munchkin girls - but women?

Imagine the slew of shadow colors they could come up with. A Trio of Donald Duck colors - blue, white & yellow? Minnie Mouse red lipstick. Cinderella shimmering rosey blush?

:cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

so you rub that monistat all over your face or just under the eye area?
Does anyone use MAC?

Yep, either use the monistat or another primer and it makes the mineral makeup go on so smooth and helps with coverage under your eyes.

Also, try a different conceler. I got a sample in Pearl Mint from Everyday Minerals and it helped cover up and add a lighter more illuminating effect to the under eye area. I've been thinking of trying some other colors and compare the difference.

The Cosmetics Company Store......I need info about what they carry. I want to be prepared and know what to expect when I go outlet shopping next weekend. Do they have Mac, Smashbox?

Also, does anyone know what Crabtree and Evelyn is/carries. I looked online and it seems similar to Bath and Body, which I have not been in love with lately, so I wasn't sure if it was worth checking out.

I can see my passporter now...

Day One: Magic Kingdom, Plaza Lunch, Chef Mickey's for dinner.

Day Two: EPCOT, fp for soarin, Swim break at BCV and Beaches & Cream lunch, Japan for dinner.

Day Three: Blizzard Beach. Ohana's for dinner

Day Four: DISNEY MAKEUP STORE! (with a small Giradelli break scheduled in) :woohoo:

Day Five: Go home cuz I'm broke. :sad1:

Think my girls will like it?:mad:

All kidding aside, a super mega Sephora or MAC with a makeover room in Downtown Disney would be awesome! :cloud9:

OK, I finally got brave enough to try the lip injection.

Oh.

My.

Word!

:scared1:

Never again. It feels like someone just ripped my lips off. This stuff is going in the trash. I'm off to go wash this off.

They are plump though. But it's not worth it. Maybe if you have no lips at all.

Man, I'm going to get some looks going through the register with Monistat Yeast, Castor Oil, Prep H, Milk Of Mag...thank goodness I already got the chafing cream....lol. :rotfl2:

I can't wait to go to sephora this week. I'm looking forward to picking up my fiberwig and sephora brush #17...

Alright - what do you want for it?

I must try this lip burning concoction.

No kidding!! :rotfl:

I thought of you all as I browsed Sephora today! I had originally planned to get the Smashbox photofinish primer on this trip, but last week I managed to find the lovely Monistat anti-chafing gel after searching all over town (go Target!). I am now one of the many Monistat faces :rotfl: :rotfl: So I just picked up a new nail file and Smashbox browtech in Auburn. I also got my birthday gift - the 3 sephora lip glosses.

They do not carry smashbox but all the lines made by Estee Lauder i.e. Mac, Bobbi Brown, Clinque, Estee and one or two more that elude me at this time. Crabtree and Evelyn are similar to Bath and Body but have a much less extensive line and their items are marketed to a more mature woman while I think B and B tries for a universal appeal but it is targeted to the 12 to 25 group IMHO>

Didn't someone tell us that there was one at Disneyland? I would love a Sephora or better yet a Mac store Or even better how about a MUD store???? Those are really hard to come by! NO wait what about a whole mall of JUST make up and hair stores. IMAGINE one mall and you could get all the things you want and lets put in a Rite Aide or a CVs so that we can get monstat of all kinds and castor oil etc.

No kidding!! :rotfl:

PM me your address and you can have this vile stuff. I'll stick it in an envelope for you. :flower3: But don't say I didn't warn you about the burn.

I told you that it hurt and hurt badly. Someone on here tried it and said it was not that bad but I do not remember who it was. They must have a very high pain threshold. I am assuming you are talking about the Too Faced lip plumper that came with the Plastic set. I mean you could just take a base ball bat and smack yourself in the mouth and get the same effect with probably a little less pain.

Do you think you can send it in the mail? I do not know if you can is it classified as a liquid??? Do you need to put it in a box. I think I am over thinking this whole thing. LOL.

BTW I just read the post that said Stila might e going bankrupt.....wth I just started liking them!!

I came home today to find an Ulta coupon today. It's for 20% off your entire purchase. AND, it's a "good" coupon, meaning you can use it for the good stuff.

Ulta has a college discount going on tomorrow. Show your school ID and get 20% off your entire purchase. They said that they are going to start doing this every 1st Tuesday of the month. I don't know if it's for the high end makeup though. I was going to call and ask but I think I'm just going to wait and use the coupon I got in the mail this weekend instead.

Oh, you might be right. But then again, beautycrunch sent it through UPS. :confused3

Yeah, but with all of the people that have posted to or read this thread buying/getting ready to buy their makeup, they will be having record profits soon. :lmao: I know I want to try some of their stuff now.

What would you call it?

Mission: Face?

Lipstick Jungle Cruise?

It's a Small Pore After All?

Mickey's Philharmonistat?

MascaraQuest?

Blush Mountain?

:goodvibes

I learned something new today. I did not know Mac, etc were Estee Lauder companies. Well, I am liking the Mac Fluidline eyeliner and I did want to try some of other stuff so it maybe worth a trip into the store to find out what they have. :cool1:

Anyone know if Elizabeth Arden makes decent makeup still? I know I used to use it some, but kind of got out of the "habit" when I started to use Bare Mineral makeup. I have Elizabeth Arden her in town and they have warehouse sales just about every month or two. Just wondering if I should give them another look the next time they have a sale.

If you like a make up it is good for you but EA is not my cup tea ...it never was. IMHO if you go to beautycrunch and order from them then you might get more current styles of make up than EA and most likely for the same or a lesser price. That is just me though.
