You know - it wouldnt surprise me if they have access to them as well.

Estheticican's can go. I bet you any money - you guy's could go.

i wanted to ask you about Restalin.... tell me about it. I want a dose between my eyebrows, and I want puffier lips. puckerup: My lips were much smooshier looking in the days of my youth. :guilty:

:goodvibes

This reminds me, I wanted to ask if the lip injector product really works? Who has used it and what did you think?

Do you mean Restylane? If so, I get this done occasionally for the lines between my nose and mouth. I think they typically use botox for between the eyebrows, although I think Restylane could probably accomplish the same thing if you are leery of botox. Personally, I'd at least consider botox because I've heard that while botox does wear off, touch-ups are required less and less often as time goes on. Whereas, supposedly, with Restylane that is not the case - touch-ups are needed every 4 - 6 months.

BUT - I had Restylane about a year ago and I'm just now thinking that it's probably time to go back for more, so it worked well for me. I do get bruising with it, though - I don't know if that's the case with botox because I've never had it. Last time the bruising lasted at least a week, probably more (my memory is fuzzy), but I just covered it with concealer. It runs me about $600.00 each time I go.

GOOD MORNING MONISTAT GIRLS and MAKE-UP QUEENS!! :wave2:

What do you all use for a nail strengthener or conditioner.

okey, Try OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenshing Oil!! Runs about $6.95 and helps improve and grow healthy nails and cuticles. :thumbsup2

Morning! I'm leaving in a few hours for California! I just wanted to report that for the first time, I couldn't zip my makeup bag while I was packing this morning. Thanks Monistat girls! Now I need a new, bigger makeup bag as well. All for a good cause, right? Have a great week.

XENA.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Are you going to Disneyland? I will tell you the weather in Southern California is spectacular. Bright sun and wonderful temps :sunny: and will continue to be like this for the next week IF NOT longger!!!

Has anyone tried BODYCOLOGY? I read an article recently in a mag about how good this stuff is...body creams and body mists!!!

Ehhhh - Im never that impressed. I have kinda big lips anyways, so they just look redder/pinker, for me.

Thanks for that info. Very good. I often wondered about it.

Get out! I did too. And yes, you sure can. I actually didnt realize I forgot it, until I eyeballed myself after lunch. :scared:

Oh! Can I join?! I just found this thread this morning and have been reading it during the slow parts of today at work. I'm on page 30, so I have a ways to go still.

I love make-up, perfume, nail polish, hair products, bath stuff, etc. I spent a nice chunk of my tax return at Sephora and LUSH (anyone else into LUSH? I'm absolutely addicted!) My bathroom looks it should be it's own mini-store and sometimes when I go digging through my stuff even I am amazed at what I own. I recently moved and my first order of business when I found out we were moving was to locate the nearest MAC, Sephora, LUSH and Ulta (thankfully they are all in the same mall, down the street from my house :woohoo:)

I was actually curious if anyone could recommend to me a nice matte gray nail polish. Everything I find is either too shimmery, too silver or just not a true gray. Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

Hey, just got back and was checking in.

I just assisted with putting in lip implants this morning. KimR actually knew more and answered better about Restylane than I could right now. I'm still trying to learn about all the procedures.

I am fine with my lips the way they are. I ordered the Fantastic Plastic Set for the Wrinkle Injection and the Lash Injection, and thought the Lip Injection would be fun to try. Then I read the reviews on MUA and I'm scared :scared:. Just how much does this stuff "sting"????

Hi! Nice to see a new face!

Hey, just got back and was checking in.

One hour ago I got my Fantastic Plastic Set from the lovey UPS lady, of course I immeidatly put the lip injection on. I like it. My lips got a little puffy and pink right away. No pain for me just a little burn, like I ate some hot salsa that is no that hot. I am quite pleased. I like all 3 offerings in the package. I also got the 3 smudge pots, this ia all from beauty crunch. Funny the set of three on the site one looked gold, it is actually bronze the other 2 are black and charcoal. I got the too faced purple rain lipgloss/lipstick in one. I have that on my hand too see how it last.
Also for the poster who was looking for nail help, I take a biotin supplement 2 times a day. I have been for 9 months, per my dr., it works for me, stronger faster growing hair and nails. And I am working my monistat face, loving it.

I tried mine from the Plastic set and it stings....it stings a lot and it stings for a long time. My lips were stinging for at least 20 minutes, not to mention that they feel cold too! I do not think I need it since I have average size lips ...and I do not want Octomom lips so I do not know what I will do with it. I had used the Patricia Wexler one and it did not hurt as much however, my lips did not get as puffy either.

ETA: I did not get anything at the Too Faced sale because I had today's package coming. It was the pixi tri colored shadow. It is okay I will see how it works tomorrow. I did not find any reviews on it but I got it on a whim from BC. I am really jonesing for the Too Faced stuff. If someone was making me an Easter basket it would make great filler....sometimes my DH reads the boards although I doubt he would read this one.

It's official - I'm addicted to trying new makeup. I just finished ordering some Everyday Minerals. I've been using BE, but have heard so much about the EM stuff I thought I would give it a try. Plus with the sample set, how could you not at least try it.

I also got two colors of Mac Fluidline last week and I love, love, love them. I got Dipdown (brown) and Waveline (purple/blue). They are both nice and now I want to try the Blitz and Glitz and Shade colors. They are very easy to put on and they stay on. :wizard: They are like magic.

I've also decided I am going to try the Monostat stuff and compare to the Primetime I've been using from BE.

The next thing I want to try is some new shadows. I've been using BE shadows, but they are a little messy and the color are kind of transparant. Any suggestions?

Morning all,

Here's another thumbs-up for the Monistat...I have VERY oily skin and even after the 13-hour day I worked yesterday, I wasn't shiny! :cool1:

Other than that I haven't bought anything new lately! Horrible, right? What should I be most excited about now?

The MAC fluidline sounds intriuging, although it seems as though it might be similar to Stila's smudgepots. How do the two compare?

We'll probably be going to the mall tomorrow so I'm going to try to stop by Sephora. Although whenever we get within 10 feet of the place, one DD will grab my arm while the other pushes on my back with all three of them chanting 'keep walking...keep walking....keep walking'! :lmao:

For my nails, people recommended Nail Envy by OPI. Well yesterday I was in Bealls Outlet and they had a two pack of OPI polish, one was a nail envy and the other a copper colored polish. The two pack was $6.99. Unbelievable! It was the only one on the shelf though.

Wow! You found a great deal!

I used the Nail Envy for a while, and it helped (my nails peel constantly unless I have really good polish or strengtheneron them). I have tried Nutra Nail and the Elizabeth Arden nail treatments, but I didn't think they were as good.

Right now I'm using Orly Bonder (not a nail treatment per se, but it keeps the nails from peeling and holds the polish on), then polish, then the Seche Vite topcoat.

My Stila makeup appt is for 2pm today :cool1: I'm not sure what to expect but I am anxious to learn something new and perhaps buy something new

I haven't used the Stila stuff....yet ;)....but from what I understand they are very similar.

I wish we had a Sephora here. :sad1: Even our Macy's carries a very limited amount of lines. But, they do have Mac so I've been happy.

Hi all, I just wanted to give a little love to the smudge pots. This was my first day using them. Very nice, easy to apply and so far very longlasting. To my surprise, I really love the bronze. I bought the trio from beautycruch not thinking I would use this color as much as the other 2. Well I really like it. With the 3 colors I probably have enough for 6 months at least. I little goes along way. Also the 2 faced lip injection from the plastics trio. I have no burn at all today, very little yesterday. I know people reported major stinging I have none today. I love the mascara from too faced, it relly gives an excellent fullness to my lashes. I am heading to the grocery store and going to swing by Lenox and venture into to Sephora to just look around, browse. Love the monistat still, it is fantabulous.
