When 26th May (woo hoo not long now!)
Who All the Girls: Me- Disney Mummy, Best Disney mate, Big (DD10) and Small (DD7)
Newport Bay Club (Grrrr, SL wasn't in my deal when booking!)
3D/4N

This trip is all mega-huge thanks to my Best Disney Mate, as a massive cheer up after me & my 2 lovelies suddenly became a single parent family, I had to leave the best job I ever had, and we all moved 300 miles from where the girls grew up and went to school. Traumatic times that have genuinely been helped by her generous support and friendship.

Also, Best Disney Mate is dealing with a health issue in her family, so could do with a bit of distraction. Plus she works flippin hard and deserves as many Disney trips as possible!

Fortunately I have been able to contribute by way of Ferry crossing (Merci Avios!) and driving to DLP.

So I reckon this is going to be a fun, but possibly emotional trip!

Ok....on to the Nitty Gritty
Despite quite a few trips, there's STILL stuff I havent done:
Studio Tram Tour
Armageddon (do not think I care much about that!)
Tower of Terror
RC Racer
Cinemagique
Indiana Jones
Space Mountain

Also, would love to get the girls' face painted at the start of one of the days, plus have breakfast at the DLH - was thinking that brekkie could be my treat to Best Disney mate for making our holiday possible. What do you think? Any other thank yous that might be better?

Plus can't wait to see Dreams again!!! I thought it was going to be a once in a lifetime thing... but no...cue the tears again!!

Oh yeah, and the girls know nothing (but I think they suspect......special Disney related ESP)

:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:

Sounds like you all deserve a truly wonderful trip. I hope the sun shines and you enjoy every moment. The DLH breakfast is very, very good:goodvibes I'll look forward to your reports about NPB, that's where we're staying......and it's a girls only trip too :cheer2:

Thank you! Yes we are all super excited. We have stayed at NPB before, and I've always loved the look of the place, the nautical theme is fab, and I really love the dining rooms for some reason. I know it's long overdue a refurb, but I've never had a truely awful room, both times have been lakeside without paying extra, and this time lakeside was the only option. Here's hoping for a room not tooooooooooooooo far from reception as those corridors are dang long!!!!

Also not yet done Princess Pavillion or the Meet Mickey thingy, but not sure about either of those. Alldepends on the girls....maybe could trade off time spent queuing for characters against cocktail time......hmmmm

Sounds like a very well deserved trip! Would agree that breakfast in the DLH would be a magical way to say thank you! Hope you have a fantastic time and that you come back with lots of photos to share on here! :thumbsup2

Ooooh forgot to say! I love Cinemagique and the Tram tour, hope you enjoy them too:thumbsup2

Not sure why we havent done Cinemagique before, probably coz girls age, but now youngest is 7 yhink its worth it. As for Tram.Tour its always been closed!

Having been lucky to have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel (and doing so again in June), the breakfast there was the highlight for us dining wise, it's fab, it also gives you such a great start to the day. Even if you just want to have hot dog & fries for your tea you will be happy you have dined well for the day.

We would go there even if we had to pay.

:rotfl2: Love it!!!

I think it sounds like you guys deserve an extra special Disney Trip to me!

It sounds like you are going to have a magical trip! :wizard:

Am starting to get proper excited now, and as it's less than a month to go I think I can start doing packing dummy runs.

I've only got a few practical things to sort out like getting Euros and working out logistics of getting from cornwall to kent which depends whether I can finish work early on the friday before we go. If I can leave early enough to pick the girls up from school, we could drive as far as Andover, cheap Premier Inn, then do rest of drive Sat morning. This would be.best as we drive to france on Sunday.

We r going A30, A303, M3, M25. Ugh.

Just found out I don't need to work the friday before go. It means I can make pasties before we go and start travelling as soon as the girls finish school! Yay!
