I'm not happy with his decision, but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

The ex was found guilty of contempt of the visitation schedule. However, nothing will happen to him and he will not only be able to pick DS up at school on Wednesdays now but also every other Friday. The magistrate said this is to avoid conflict between the parents but, excuse, me is the ex now being rewarded for violating the former visitation schedule? Before this all started he was only picking him up at school on Wednesdays. Now he gets Fridays. And alot of the time the ex picks DS up from school I do not get the correspondance the school sends home! He was ordered to pay half my lawyer's fees and the court costs. Also, I will now get the last 4 weeks of summer vacation with DS. At least the ex will not be able to ruin our vacation plans to WDW for my 50th birthday at the end of July. Only 7 more years of this!!!:(

I feel your pain. we were in court on the 19th, nothing got resolved. my ex's lawyer told a lot of lies. the judge didn't believe him, but didn't discount the lies either. (she will realize the truth once we produce documentary evidence showing what a liar he really is.) but she decided on an in camera interview of the kids.

I have 8 more years of this nonsense. ugh.

I know you are feeling frustrated by this situation. I'm so glad you have 4 weeks vacation with your son, though.

It just doesn't make sense.

So sorry about the bad news TC. I hope that your celebration at WDW this summer will take away some of the sting.

{{{{HUGS}}}} Sorry it didn't go the way you had hoped. At least now it's on record and if he continues to be an idiot then hopefully he can be stopped.

I am sorry TC. I hope that this is only a minor setback and that things will work out in the long run.
