The Magical Summer trip report!

As many of you know, I have been going to Disneyland since 1976. I'm 41 years old... so a lonnnnnnnnnng time! This was a very Magical trips of first's.

On Thursday August 30, 2012, we left Sparks, Nevada... for our Magical Summer DLR trip. We live about 8 hours away by car, or 1.5 hours by air....
I'm unmarried, and have no kiddo's of my own... but I do have a couple of dogs, that are my heart!!!

So, we end up getting to the hotel at about Midnight, on that Thursday night. We chose the Candy Cane, after having a few reservations elsewhere.... The Candy Cane won out, with it's closeness, free breakfast, free shuttle if we wanted it, and it's Boutique style, and lush flower's.. very SoCal! The price was right too, with a AAA discount, and also a return visitor coupon, which I now have in my hot little hand, for $10.00 off each night, on our next trip!

You could hear and see Carsland from the rear of the property!!!

The breakfast each morning was held by the pool.
It consisted of:

Donuts, that we're very good and fresh.
Cold cereal: Raison Bran, Rice Crispies,and Fruit Loops
Instant Oatmeal, they have a microwave for your use ( none in the room's, unless you get a Premium room )
Bagels', cream cheese, jelly, toast you toast yourself, and yogurt.
Also fresh fruit, banana's, apples and oranges.

Coffee, milk, hot chocolate, OJ, and Apple juice as well.

It was all you cared to eat, and held by the pool, or you could bring it back to your room...

If you have a Premium room, they will put a menu in your room, your fill it out, and hang it on your door, with a time you would like it delivered, and they will bring it to you....

We had a Deluxe room, and enjoyed eating next to the beautiful pool each morning! After all we we're in SoCal! Living the dream!!!

We we're up early of course, by 5:30am. The breakfast started at 7am, we had just enough time to grab some coffee, and a quick bite, and hussle over to the Esplanade...
We we're supposed to meet up with a fellow Diser, in the Esplanade at 7:45am!

We head straight into DCA, and to get FP for DSR..

I loved this statue because it was so accessible to the public!

Next up our friend brings us into 1901!!
